I can see that I was mistaken to think that Free Republic was no longer an anti-Catholic website.

It was a mistake to donate to the last fundraiser on that basis. I won’t make that mistake again.

No, you weren't mistaken and your donation remains truly and greatly appreciated.

I've not come back to the Religious Forum in a quite a long while because until last night, I hadn't seen any severely outlandish, totally freaky or truly nasty posts like the ones from that poster which I relied to.

As you can see, Jim is faithful to his word: he doesn't tolerate that crap and I think our Religion Moderator must be doing a good job too, because again, until last night, I hadn't noticed any severely ugly posts sail by on the latest comments page. (I do, however, complete ignore posts by a certain predictable few...lol. One is too wordy to ever make sense even in a mental ward for the insane and the others are just plain nutz).

I'm sure you know that Jim can't monitor every thread, but all you have to do is either ping him or send him a short note.

NO, DON'T DO THAT, this site, with zillions of the religiously uneducated, trying to disprove the Catholic Church is more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.

It is fascinating to see people design their own thought processies to justify their own conclusions....

If I believe that it happened this way, then my belief system superceeds 1,600 years of history....I GET TO SEEK SALVATION ON MY OWN and set my own rules as to what constitutes truth. I Love this site, it points out that even if God Himself comes to Earth and establishes a religion....others think that they are better able to do so AMAZING!!!!!
