Obviously it's BS, but IMO it means that someone reported us falsely in an attempt to drive traffic away. Anything we can do about it?

I got the harm message when I clicked on the article’s link. It says the site administrator must take action.
Not the first time :/
Go to the linked page, click on a link and see what Google says, Send feedback, and tell them,
I just sent:
If the notice is still coming up, go to the bottom of the page where is says STOP adding “Warning visiting this web site may harm your computer!” to freerepublic.com search results, as for links here.

There simply is no valid reason for this, and ideological censure will only impugn the credibility of Google.
Thanks. Grace and peace thru the Lord Jesus
I use ixquick, been using it for about a decade. Sometimes, I use Google if I am trying to get more information, but rarely need to use it...
ping (see above post).
Remember the Google executive that was very involved in the overthrow of Egypt during the so-called Arab spring? He should be deported to Egypt and put on trial.
This is an example of how much power some of these tech companies have.

1st thing I thought.
Well, the other day - maybe yesterday - I got actual malware for the first time on my iPad. I do spend time here every day so could there actually have been some infection?
I am on an iPad. How do you tell if you’ve picked up malware?
There was a popup that said something was wrong as well as behind it, a weird screen saying something was wrong, both had a “apple” phone number to call for immediate help.
I knew the number was unlikely to be apple, so I called Apple myself looking up the number. They told me what to do and I had to reset the browser in settings or whatever. They told me it was malware and of course if I had called there would be someone telling me to pay $ to get rid of whatever. But it took one 5 min phone call and it was gone.
I was on safari. Sometimes I use chrome and even sometimes (when I need to upload docs) I use puffin browser.
I’m not sure. Just saw it mentioned on some threads that if you clicked the link to the story you got a malware warning. I didn’t run into it myself, but that is the kind of thing that’ll get you flagged on the Google.
I haven’t seen any pop-ups, but I do get the same screen as in post#44 if I click on the “example search^” at beginning of thread.
Once you get flagged you have to go through the process to unflag.
"I havent seen any pop-ups, but I do get the same screen as in post#44 if I click on the example search^ at beginning of thread."
So as long as I don’t click on a search result that says “this site may harm your computer” I won’t get flagged and will avoid having to get unflagged?
Just now I searched on my tag, along with Free Republic, and Google showed me a number of links to FR, none of them with warnings.
It’s possible, but an extreme long shot, IMO. Did you visit any clickbait sites?
