Obviously it's BS, but IMO it means that someone reported us falsely in an attempt to drive traffic away. Anything we can do about it?
Internal moles with their own agenda can do MUCH more mischief than an External hacker.
I get it when I use google to search FR for Clinton scandals like this google search:
site:www.freerepublic.com "larry nichols"
Otherwise no problem -- though I suspect searching for anything connected to Clinton scandals (and probably Obama scandals) will "harm you and your computer."
If I use FR's search for keyword, larrynichols, appears to be no problem.
All of the above is based upon minimal investigation. But using google to search FR for "larry nichols" appeared that every FR thread was tagged with the warning.
It’s the site that gets flagged, not the user.

It appears related to the use of the “site” directive.
Doesn’t happen if CNN.com is directed.
Yes it appears to be related.. but I use this to find my old replies
site:www.freerepublic.com williamofcarmichael
There's no warnings.
In my reply above the site search of FR gets the warning and this additional parameter added to the path
2Fdcclothesline.com%2F2013%2F10%2F14%2Fbombshell-long-time-clinton-associate-says-killed-people-bill-hillary
It was found using the google site parameter. It got the harm warning. Perhaps because it redirected to dcclothesline.com.
But I went directly to that Oct 14, 2013 dcclothesline.com article using the URL without getting a warning or anything funny. Though there were the usual ads to click on.
For every case where google returns a FR thread that links to, for examples, www.dcclothesline.com
www.nationalenquirer.com
www.politico.com
and Fox News site.
the path is redirected to the article and there is a warning
I've often wondered why the FR thread itself is redirected to the source article but it happens.
During all those prior times not once have I encountered a warning.
Maybe this is just a bug in google and when their index run includes all the these examples the problem will be fixed.
I honestly thought that goo-boys-and-girls had inserted these warnings to discourage people from looking up the lies and crimes of the Clintons (and Obama?) I still believe that it will happen, though.
Think Google just needs to revisit the marked pages. It was the (harmless) redirector, Google took issue with a URL in a URL :/ Might be something we can help Google fix (via Google control panel?)
I just googled trying to find an old thread, something I do fairly often, and just saw this message for the first time. Google wouldn’t load the page, I had to copy/paste it.
Phuqqerz.
The only time recently I’ve seen or heard a malware claim is when someone has posted an image from a dodgy website on a thread.
Indeed.
