My Dad is going to die. The hospital say it could be anytime within the next 48 hours.
If you can, could you pray for him and for me.
Thanks.
So sorry to hear this, Lucy. Will send prayers!
Thanks for the update.
May he rest in peace.
Prayers to you, your dad and your family!
awwww....so, so sorry for your loss. ‘tis hard. but thank you for posting/updating.
It’s a hard thing, watching a parent die. Just Hard.
Thank you all for your kindness.
My cousin and her husband are at the hospital with my Dad, it’s now 3.23am. I just can’t emotionally deal with this. I actually feel ill, I feel like I’ve got the flu, the limbs aching and everything.
I lost my Mother very suddenly in 2010, I spoke to her on the phone at 4pm and at 7pm the hospital phoned saying she’d been rushed in, and at 10pm they told me she was going to die, and she did the next day.
My most sincere condolences to you and your family, Lucy.
I am very sorry for your loss. Keep your family close and especially your precious children and husband.
:( Is there any way you can go....or are you too far away? I’m so sorry you couldn’t have more of a heads-up for your mom. Obviously, I don’t know your situation or history, but I feel you won’t regret pushing through the pain and going (if you can). Otherwise, the pain *will* subside. You have many praying for you...because you shared it with us. You can do it. More prayers your way, Lucy H.
My Dad was suffering from very severe pneumonia. The thing is, on the Saturday the nurses were very happy at how well he was doing, he was breathing on his own and talking and everything....Dad and I were even talking about the days football in the Premiership League.
Then on Sunday things started to go wrong, unbelievable to me, considering how good everything was the day before.
Then on the Monday morning the hospital told me that his lungs were now so congested again, they had him on the strongest antibiotics, but his breathing was so bad like had him back on the oxygen and the Doctors said that there was nothing else they could do and that he would die.
From Saturday to then, such a turnaround, almost too much to process in my brain.
No I just don’t want to see him in that condition, not in a hospital bed.
I saw my Mother like that and it just devastated me, literally to the point the nurses had to put me in another hospital bed.
I very much appreciate all the kindness and prayers.
OK....Hang in there, Lucy. Just hang in there.
God bless you both.
Sorry, Lucy.
I just saw this thread. So sorry for your loss Lucy. Prayers sent for your dad’s soul. May he rest in peace.
