I've been calling this one for a while. That Fiorina would deliver the first in a series of blows to Trump. That America would be introduced to her. That she’d win.
Now everyone from CNN to Fox News, to Salon, to even Breitbart News agrees that Carly Fiorina walked away with a landslide. Hell, even Cosmopolitan is singing her praises.
Her performance was so dominant, it reminded me of a song from my youth. And so I made a montage... (video at link)

Steven, I have been an admirer of your work for a long time. I think that Fiorina did land a lot of solid punches last night and demonstrated clearly that she can play with the big boys. Whether or not she will have appeal to the voters remains to be seen.

that’s rather delusional. She doesn’t have much of a chance of winning the nomination, any more than the ones who debated each other in the afternoon. She was only allowed to get into the prime-time debate because she’s a woman. Sorry, that’s not a good enough reason to vote for her, just as it is not a good enough reason to vote for Hillary.

I listened to the debate on radio, so my thoughts might be very different from those watching. But I thought she had the best night of the bunch...although bordering on shrewish. When I saw pictures of the debate later, it reinforced my feeling. I think those saying she won had just cause for saying so...but while she made a good introduction, she might fade with more exposure. I agree with the theory that Americans won’t elect someone they aren’t willing to be around for a few years.
I really wish Cruz would win, but I don’t think he will. He gave great answers but wasn’t willing to fight to be heard. He needs to understand this is NOT the Supreme Court and obeying the rules gets you last place.
Trump sounded...stupid. Unprepared. Weak and nasty. I thought he had a HORRIBLE performance.
I kept falling asleep during Carson’s answers, so I still don’t know what he thinks. Well...I know he and Trump and a few others are now big on Iraq being a bad decision, but I think many folks don’t understand the second Gulf War was a strategic gamble. We didn’t play it very well, but it is OBAMA who totally threw away our gains.
