Glenn Beck is having an absolute hissy on the radio right now. In epic meltdown, he is literally rambling and mad at the world. The In the course of the first 45 minutes in the program we've learned that:
- Sarah Palin is a clown - Trump supporters are no different than Obama supporters in 2008/2012 -Don Lemon on the other hand, is an honest guy trying to do the right thing -Ted Cruz is in Donald Trump's hip pocket
I honestly thought at one point he was going to scream "STOP LIKING SOMEONE I DON'T LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!". It seems ironic to me that a guy who blathers on about how we need to have a dialogue with people we disagree with apparently doesn't extend that courtesy to anyone who doesn't immediately "snap to" and agree that Donald Trump is the Antichrist. It will be interesting to see if he becomes more and more unhinged if the Trump wave continues.
Is anyone else listening to this and if so, what are your thoughts?
I was born and raised in Utah, but I'm Catholic, so bear with me, there are some things they believe in, if I don't get it quite right, there might be someone on here that can correct what I'm about to say:
They believe in the ‘latter days, our country will be hanging by a thread, and a great person will come in and safe the country’
Another one I have always heard my whole life is:
“In the final days, the Mormons will walk or march back to Navoo, Ill. to gather”
And: “Daughter will turn on mother, son against father, and there will be blood running down the streets of great cities”
So I have decided that when I start seeing people in Utah, of which I do live now, moving to Navoo then I'll know it's time....
I think Glen has always had a problem, I think he thinks its his duty to reform and inform everyone of how bad out Country is, only problem is, we already know this as do a lot of our clergy people and the only advise I can give is keep God in your life, pray and stand up for what is right....
Glenn Beck said a lot more than that on his radio show this morning.
I heard part of it....really over-the-top, even for Beck.
First, he called Sarah Palin a clown, and said “I can’t believe I once supported her!” I guess Beck can’t handle the thought of Sarah Palin saying nice things about Donald Trump.
Then he said, on his radio show this morning, that Trump’s people approached him at the rally, and asked him (Beck) if he wanted to meet with Trump right there at the rally.
Glenn said no, this wasn’t the time and place, there were other people around, etc. Beck then asked if he could speak to Trump on the telephone next week. Trump’s people said that would be difficult, because of his schedule, etc.
Beck then told his radio listeners, “I don’t need to speak to Donald Trump,” and then went into a tirade about how awful a person Trump is, blah, blah, blah.
When he equated Trump supporters to Obama supporters, off went the radio. Beck is losing it even more than usual these days.
Beck reminds me of Elmer Gantry.
Yeah, it was more unhinged that he usually gets. I really think that its bothering him that he’s against Trump and he’s doing well, and driving him INSANE that many of his listeners support Trump. So he’s lashing out against anyone who is pro-Trump or isn’t vocally anti-Trump.
The most shocking one to me was the “Ted Cruz in Trump’s hip pocket” comment. I like Ted Cruz, but Beck/Pat/Stu think he walks on water. Never thought I’d hear them ever say anything against Cruz.
This morning he reminded me of Robert Tilton.
I didn’t hear all of Beck’s first hour, so I missed the comments about Ted Cruz.
Just wow.
Maybe somebody can make a farting video of Beck.

well and I dont want to overplay it, He didn’t go on forever about Cruz....but that was a pretty rough comment.
There were a handful of people in the back that were talking against him. They were trying to disrupt the rally. But they stopped very quickly when they weren’t getting any attention. But it was a handful of people in the back. Not booing. They were just talking loud.
Why do I need to hear Beck rant and rave?
I can get that here.
I was surprised at Jindal. He attacked Trump just to get attention. Jindal threw a Hail Mary attack since he is polling down there with Graham and Perry.
What ever happened to the GOP 11th commandment?
Trump hits back if you go after him like he did to Carly who has been provoking Trump for many weeks now.
I don’t think Trump picking on Carly’s looks was the best tactic, she was a fired as a CEO and wants to be CEO of America.
CNN pol has Carly at 3% and Jindal at 1%. If I was Diamond Donald Trump, I would just say they are desperate and throwing everything against the wall to see if it sticks.
Trump brings out the best in everyone. Go Trump, go!

I stopped listening to him some time ago, I wish I could have heard the rant.
That said, have we now decided that Obama is not the Beast, after years of speculation that he was? And for good reason.

The Beast fools everyone, so it can't be Obama. I'd say Obama falls along the line of harbinger.

I left Glenn “I’m the next Gandhi” Beck a long time ago. He started to lose me years ago with his arrogant belief that no one had ever heard of progressives before he discovered the history of progressivism. His more recent Rodney King-esque “Can’t we all get along” attitude and quoting or referencing Gandhi was just way too much.
Maybe he started drinking again..
I heard a second. He is off the rails. I was listening to another local show and left it on. Beck’s second hour came on. He has melted down. He used to be really good and I would defend him but now is has become a joke. So off went the radio till Rush who makes sense.
He’s gotten very good lately at making people feel like crap and guilty because they’re not doing enough. His FB posts are long and rambling essays about we need to stand up and be counted. We have to strand with Israel and now he wants to bring all the Syrian refugees. He keeps saying stand up and be counted. I think he needs to go away for a long rest.
