NFL quarterback Matt Flynn, best known for being the former backup to Aaron Rodgers, is officially unemployed and hitting the sauce.
Almost a month after being released by the Patriots to make room for Ryan Lindley (who has since been released as well) and just a few weeks since signing a one-year deal with the Jets, Flynn fell victim to the wave of NFL roster cuts on Saturday afternoon. And like any self-respecting American who has recently been fired, he immediately started drinking.
Thats what up! My man with the early morning bloody Mary at 8:38 AM sharp.
In all likelihood, Flynn will end up on another NFL roster. There are too many teams whose quarterback situation is tenuous at best and where depth is an issue. S**t, if the Arizona Cardinals season goes anything like it did last year, Matt Flynn could be starting for them by Week 10.
In the mean time though, if you see him around town, buy the dud
Yummy...
Breakfast is the most important drink of the day...
Hold the olives, love the bacon
I’m not a big fan of bloody marys. But there is no way I would turn down trying that! If I turned away I’d regret it for the rest of my life.
Olives? No thanks.
Cowboys should snap him up, he’s much better than Weeden.
The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.
I used to make a Bloody Maria...Tequila instead of vodka...
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...GOOD!!!!!!
The Cowboys need to take Tim Tebow. America’s team is the only franchise that can handle the media frenzy with a Tebow, but since he was an Eagle he can help Jason Garrett with some of their call signs and tendencies.
Gotta tell ya that looks pretty good.
I was hoping it was made with Buddha’s Hand infused vodka for that bit of “serenity now” feeling he probably needs.
Why? Too much salt along with the bacon?
I don’t think I’ve seen anybody make such hay from 1 game. A career backup that got a serious contract because he threw 6 TDs against a terrible defense while Rogers was hurt. He had a better career than he should have, that’s a good way to celebrate.
I really could care less about this guy, who I have never head of but I find it offensive for the author to write “And like any self-respecting American who has recently been fired, he immediately started drinking.” Seriously?!
I'm thinking THIS will win me friends and influence people all OVER Free Republic, today! *SMIRK*
Then go outside and sweat the salt out with exercise. It’ll be good for your heart...and soul.
This is the guy that Philly should sign.
Only a woman could post that. You are disgusting!! ;-)
