Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura suggested Tuesday that he’d be glad to be Donald Trump’s running mate.

“Do you think Donald would ever think of asking me?” Ventura said during an interview on his “Off the Grid” show with former Trump adviser Roger Stone .

Ventura said he’d support Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.

“I shocked my staff today,” Ventura said. “I came in and said, ‘You know what, as far as the Republicans are concerned, I hope Trump wins.’”

does not sound like a particularly astute VP selection for The Don

Don is at the top of my list right now, but if he picks this booger ventura for a running mate I'll put him on the same list as Jebby - never, never, never ...

The Hill has columnists from both the Right and the Left.

Veeps go to a lot of funerals. I would wake from the dead and ask for earplugs if I could hear Jesse Ventura’s voice at my funeral.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm probably guilty of a knee-jerk reaction to treating any source other than Free Republic as part of the state-run lamestream media. Sorry for my wrong take on The Hill.

It seems odd that ultra-leftists such as Jesse Ventura and Mark Cuban have been commenting in not unfavorable terms about Donald Trump. Plus there's the semi-endorsement he got yesterday by Planned Parenthood. It seems like it could very well be an orchestrated attack by liberals to discredit Trump.

“Where do you keep your 10 billion?”

Don’t know what you are insinuating. If it is being rich = being smart, I refer you to Teddy Kennedy’s fortune as an example of stupidity not being a deterrent to owning money.

Ironically, both Teddy and Donald made their first fortunes on the backs of parents and grandparents, Teddy by a whiskey-running Daddy and Donald from a Grandpa who took advantage of the Alaskan Gold Rush by providing hotels, bars and prostitutes from the miners.

One thing about Trump-—he knows his audience. And he knows they’ll buy those.

I’m personally hoping for Cruz/Trump. Will not vote for any ticket that has that piece of feces Ventura on it, even if the top of the ticket was Cruz.

That would be two of us. I would be so disappointed in Cruz were he to do that.

How about Oprah?

No. She would be just as bad as Ventura.

I wouldn’t vote for Trump even if he had TED CRUZ on the ticket.

I might wind up at that point myself. Voting for Trump might come down to a decision made when I pull the lever in the voting booth.

well...I voted for Mitt Romney, John McCain, and Bob Dole so there’s no telling just who I’m capable of voting for.

I voted for Dole and Palin (and McWhat'sHisName) but not Mitt. He was a bridge too far. I'm undecided on Trump.

Yes he does; liberals are that predictable.

I would imagine many here have already made their purchase. :-)

Jesse should join the other 120 candidates running for President. He should get the UFO expert for his VP.
