Black people in Pittsburgh were feeling poorly about crime: Too many of them were in the news accused of killing, robbing, assaulting, jacking, shooting, stealing, rioting, breaking, burgling, harassing, intimidating, threatening, fighting, throwing, running, stoning, smoking, drinking, escaping, drugging, firing, and destroying.
So in 2011, black leaders got together to do something about it: Not stop the crime. Just stop reporters from letting us know about it.
Because it is a little-known fact of psychology that drawing attention to black crime actually causes more black crime -- which draws more attention, which creates more crime. And on and on until black crime is six, ten, 50, 100 times greater than white and asian crime.
Where it is today.
"If the only information about black people is what's in the news, there's a reason why unemployment rate is astronomic and why we have all these negative issues -- because the imaging of black people is extremely negative," said Black Political Empowerment Project president Tim Stevens. "Not only does it affect the viewpoint of white people with their thoughts on black people, I say it affects the psychology of black people.”

There you go right there - the statistics speak for themselves. If the Chinese were acting in a "civilized" manner they'd be committing crimes at a 10X higher rate. They are obviously not trying to fit in.
I think Bobby the Taxpayer has been watching too many Kung-Fu, or Triad Gangster, movies...
And of course as one FReeper noted, much of the increased black violence is a result of the DOJ's meddling in local police affairs.

Other bottom line : Crimes by blacks against blacks usually go unsolved. So it is safer to go after your own in that regard.

I think there is an extra zero in there or I’m not understanding.
What none of you understand is that cities that are run by liberals, socialists and communists, especially “BLACK LIBERALS, SOCIALISTS AND COMMUNISTS” do not consider BLACK ON BLACK or BLACK ON WHITE killings a crime. It’s become a sporting event for every one to watch. I would advise every white neighborhood to arm themselves to the teeth, not allow any black enter their neighborhood, and every time they have to leave their neighborhood, they should leave the neighborhood as an armed group. Go where ever they are going, well armed, and then when they finish what ever they are doing to head back to their armed neighborhood. They cannot and should not expect the city government for any protection.
I am sure the civilized conversation went something like this:
“My good man, I believe there has been an unfortunate mistake in that my account seems to be quite low in funding as I have not been allowed to withdraw money that I planned on buying ice cream for the disabled elderly in my village.”
During my life. there has never been a Republican mayor.
The current Mayor, Peduto is another Democrap/Commie, the worst so far.

I have also had second-hand reports from people I trust of Tim Stevens personally hauling a minibus full of voters around from precinct to precinct to vote multiple times.

Taking this issue head on is not that difficult. We have laws and those laws must be obeyed.
