It’s “Hello her Thighness” if Yeb is the nominee.

I’m not so certain about that. Hillary badly sucks on the campaign trail. Hillary would have to get out from her hiding from everyone and open her mouth.

If the GOP continues to diss The Donald, the problem we have is as described below. Because they have morphed into a wing of the Progressive Traitor Party (aka, demonrats), THE GOP ELITES SIMPLY DON’T SHIVE A GIT! I predict they WILL continue to screw over Trump, driving him to an independent or 3rd party run, splitting the conservative vote. And if SHE doesn’t self-destruct, start practicing saying “President Clinton”.

Over the years – when, to steal a line from Billy Joel, I wore a younger man’s clothes – I was involved with several pretty solid conservative candidates for Congress. One was a Democrat (Lawrence Patton McDonald) – because that was the only way he could win in that district. Those old-timers who know Larry’s record will tell you that he was a solid an anti-communist America Firster and more Republican than the Pubbies in nearby districts at the time. (His mother’s cousin was General George Patton from whom he got the middle name – and his incredible resolve and love of this country.) How ironic that he, like General Patton, was also assassinated by the communists they both despised. It was my honor to introduce Larry at his last public speech in the district before that ill-fated KAL007 flight!

Those other candidates ran as Republicans and each had to pass my rigid litmus test or I went looking for someone who did. For that reason, I hooked up with what the TRADITIONAL country club Pubbie establishment types believed were too radical for their refined tastes. I served as treasurer for several and in other capacities for more.

As those campaigns began to unfold and it became clear to the country clubbers that these guys 1) had a shot and 2) were pretty independent thinkers who would be hard to keep on the reservation once they got sworn in, the local Pubbies communicated that information to the Republican National HQ types who rather quickly sent in campaign “professionals” ostensibly to lock up the impending victory.

Instead, in nearly every case to which I was privy, these “professionals” proceeded to TORPEDO our guy’s campaign in subtle but effective ways.

From that experience I can tell you that the Pubbies at the HQ in D.C. would rather have a Democrat win a given district than have a Pubbie up there who would embarrass them by refusing to follow the party line.

If YOU become involved in campaigns for solidly conservative, America and Constitution loving, hard-nosed, independent thinking candidates in 2014 and beyond – and I pray many of you do — please DO NOT trust any of those folks from GOP HQ in Washington. If they want to send you no-strings cash for your campaign, take it. If, however, they “suggest” sending in one of their “professionals,” tell them to fuggetaboutit.

They ARE WHO GOT US INTO THIS MESS AND THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!!!!

“The common and continual mischief of the spirit of Party is
sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to
discourage and restrain it.” G. Washington

The sad reality is Trump is indeed a sideshow carnival barker.. the problem is the “real politicians” really have no legs to stand on when they try to exclude him for being that, when everyone knows the profession they all are involved in is nothing but a circus and rigged carnival game to begin with.

It would be a disaster for them to do so.
That would prove to the American people that the GOP has lost it’s way and has become the party of the establishment.

Americans love an underdog and this would seal their fate..................

He doesn’t need that pathetic dog an pony show

He can set up a SKYPE meeting where he watches the debates live, and gives commentary, and it would have twice as many visitors

One idea that came up was to urge three leading candidates — Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor; Mr. Walker; and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida — to band together and state that they would not participate in any debate in which Mr. Trump was present

According to... whom?

That paragraph was lifted by the GWP from the NY Times. Completely unattributed and unsourced.

Current RNC rule is that taking part in a non-approved debate prohibits the candidate from future approved debates. No major candidate is going to cross that line.

So...El Chapo (shorty) Priebus wants to ban the candidate who drew the largest crowd so far? Great strategy! (not)

Well. Democrats win. If they’re going to take out Trump, they’re going to take out Cruz. If they do this, and Trump runs third party he just might win. He doesn’t need RNC money. If republicans are going to resort to such chicanery I would rather vote for Hillary over Bush.

They are so afraid of him because he has no filter! LOL! I don’t know about anyone else, but I am just loving this. The only ones who can match him in his honesty is Scott Walker and Cruz and I think it will make them better candidates.

I don’t get the gop thinking. I never do. They don’t want him in the debates because they’re afraid he’ll run on a third party ticket. Wouldn’t it be more likely that he’d run on a third party ticket if he is NOT included in the debates?

They don't want to ban him because "he might run 3rd party". They want to ban him because they're afraid he'll kick their butts. The 3rd party thing is just cover.

It's the same method the left is using to ban the Confederate Flag, Confederate Statues, The Dukes of Hazard and Bubba Watson's balls. It's a cover to do something they've always wanted to do. The nutjob who killed the innocents is the excuse because he posed for a pic with a Confederate flag. Same MO as the Rovians.

Keep in mind the GOPe would go for Hilkary. They would rather rule in Hell then serve in Heaven IMO. They need to go.

That's exactly what Jeb is. The Road To Hillary.

I have little hope for our Republic just now, and so this will be the 1st Pres election I feel 100% as spectator, just as I was while watching the British Open last week, although I rooted for Spieth.

And as a spectator, I think it irrefutable the "panty-waist effect" an exclusion will have on the GOPe. Trump would have several options, given his bottomless pockets. He could, on the next night, insert himself into the debate by filming it, then making a video in which he responds to each question, and to each answer from his erstwhile competitors. But perhaps Cruz would take part in the regular debate, and also join Cruz in the Trump debate.

It's great theater to think of what Trump could do to show Bushetal as establishmentarianistic professional political class members working only on behalf of themselves and their class.
