hree good Samaritans saved a Missouri teenager from a would-be rapist when they yanked the nearly naked man off of her.
Springfield police arrived at the scene and found the do-gooders pinning 22-year-old Christopher Muller — who was wearing nothing but his boxers — to the ground. He was arrested on attempted rape charges, the News-Leader reported.
The three unidentified friends told police they were parking their car near a hiking trail Thursday night when they heard the girl’s screams.
Using a cellphone flashlight to guide the way, the three hiked through the trail and followed the panicked cries. Eventually, they found the 14-year-old girl. Muller was lying on top of her, investigators said.
The three fought off the alleged attacker, pulled him off the girl, held him down and called police.

Seems the good samaratans forgot about the knife or rock or stick he was using for a weapon and had to subdue the assailant resulting in him suffering a broken eye socket, fractured skull, three broken ribs, compound fracture of the forearm and a fractured pelvis, split lip and 16 shattered teeth.
Oh well, maybe next time. ;)
