The State Attorney's Office in Tallahassee, Fla., released surveillance video on Monday showing FSU quarterback De'Andre Johnson punching a female student at a bar a month ago.

DeAndre Johnson dismissed by Florida State after video shows him punching woman
In a way it is funny, these idiots never learn. Another Ray Rice.
Is the girl going to get any punishment for hitting the guy first? He has no business using that kind of force against a women. It’s never warranted, but the female doesn’t have a right to do what this one did first, either.
um..
I watched that video, and all I saw was the girl hit him, and him return the favor.
That was self defense. He doesn’t have to stand there and let some ho hit him without being able to retaliate.
That’s what I was thinking. He shouldn’t have hit her but it looks like she initiated the confrontation by grabbing him and punching him.
Those rules only apply to “ladies” and little girls.
That was a big woman and she threw a punch at him.
My concern is that the girl was still standing. This guy must be a total Pu$$y. At least Rice took his girl out.
The only thing I found “distrubing” about that video is that the woman thought she could throw a punch at someone and not expect them to throw one back.
Looks like he walked up behind her and was feeling her up... maybe grinding on her behind, to the point she had to put her hand under the bar to stop his “forward progress”... then she defended herself and he assaulted her.
It’s a mismatch like when a cop unloads a clip into a drunk woman with a steak knife.
It depends on what he said to her. In the feminist world, there are words that are worse than assault. For instance, if she was a trannie and he didn’t support her choice to be born that way. Or if he said that Womyns Studies was a fake azz major.
I guess this is a victory for Women’s Lib and feminism. In the old days, a woman could slap a man or throw a drink in his face and chivalry prevented him from doing it back. These days, if some fat, drunk girl at a bar mouths off to him and punches him, he punches her back.
His first mistake was in being in a bar in the first place since he is not 21. And it went downhill from there.
I dunno. Looks to me as though they were in the same weight class.
FSU’s QB is a felon?
That’s a first....
Watch the video closely and imagine if the races and genders were reversed:
Black man and white woman both try to make their way to crowded bar. Black man squeezes in just ahead of white woman, forcing her to the side and turns his head to mouth off to her. White woman manages to also squeeze in, even though black man slides over to prevent her from doing so, which enrages the black man.
The black man turns towards the white woman, makes a fist with his right hand and berates the white woman. The white woman, fearing she is about to be punched, reaches up and grabs the black man’s right fist. This enrages the black man even more so he punches her with his left fist instead.
After being punched, the white woman punches him back and walks away.
The media goes nuts and blames the white woman.
This is what happened, the only difference is the races and genders were reversed.
She raised her fist at him as to say "back off"
As for her punch, it should have taken it like a man and walked away...
As much as I'd hate to bring race into the conservation, many young black males think of themselves as "players", any girl is fair game to get into her pants...
She probably told him to bug off and he took as a challenge...
I guess D’Andre is not as good Jameis Winston, who raped a women and had Free seafood... The FSU CrimiNoles!!
Watch it again. At 0:14, he's shoving his way to the bar from behind her, and something about how he does it upsets her. At 0:20 you see him grabbing her right arm (initiating the assault). She responds to his grabbing her by hitting him at 0:22, and he responds by socking her.
