That was self defense. He doesn’t have to stand there and let some ho hit him without being able to retaliate.

Watch it again. At 0:14, he's shoving his way to the bar from behind her, and something about how he does it upsets her. At 0:20 you see him grabbing her right arm (initiating the assault). She responds to his grabbing her by hitting him at 0:22, and he responds by socking her.

It was obvious he was feeling her up...grinding against her...she was the one defending herself....

My computer won't let me watch the video. Was his hitting her an instant reaction to being hit by her? I'd assume anyone who hits someone should accept the possibility that they might get hit themselves.

With spy cameras everywhere, it's gone way over board, taking situations out of context, and there being no attempt for "innocent until proven guilty" or showing compassion for human imperfection. It detracts from the real cases of maniacs who assault people just because they like to. JMHO

Er, I just watched it and what I saw was the girl was at a crowded bar, he muscles his way in, they have words, she pops him one on the shoulder and he nails her with a right to the jaw...
He wasn’t “defending” himself....
