A road trip down old Route 66 led to a Wild West-style motel shootout for a pioneering CNN anchor and her former-soldier hubby.
Lynne Russell the first woman to ever solo-anchor a primetime network news show and Chuck de Caro, 65, had stopped at a Motel 6 for the night in Albuquerque when an intruder slipped into their room as Russell went to grab something from the car around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
I opened the door and he materialized out of nowhere; he was inside, she told The Post. And he pushed me into the room and onto the bed and closed the door.

Things haven’t been right since that Roswell alien crash landed here. He got mugged by the govt.
A physician here in this small town was watching CNN one night and noticed something unique about Ms Russell’s neck. He called but CNN doesn’t allow phone calls to celebrities so he wrote her a letter. She got the letter and went to her physician and sure enough, she had a unique form of cancer. She was treated and is fine now.
.....and perky too!
Cut her some slack. She’s 68 or so.

So what would be CNN’s stand on guns be now that two of their on were saved by the fact they were carrying?
The fake parts of her are only 20 or so.
