WASHINGTON (CNN) Real estate mogul Donald Trump didn't mince words in his presidential announcement Tuesday, slamming President Barack Obama, some of his 2016 Republican rivals and putting forth some bold policy suggestions on issues ranging from jobs to fighting ISIS to immigration.
Here is a look at some of the positions he highlighted in his speech -- and the realities of making them happen...
(A look at five important policiy changes Trump outlined as his goals) please see the full article at the link: http://www.kcci.com/politics/a-closer-look-at-trumps-proposed-policies/33688608

The article goes into the following five policy changes proposed by Trump:
1) ISIS
2) Immigration
3) Unemployment
4) Obamacare
5) Education
So how about it, other GOP candidates?
How about your own views, on these important issues, which many of your potential voters are focused on.
Trump has taken his positions. He's in this race now.
To win.
If the GOP candidates don't present their own views on these imporant issues, Trump will win.
I realize there is a long while, until the election. But Trump has only been in this race for less than one week, and he's already leading in this discussion. By a long, long way.
Speak up people.
ROFL. Your photos are great.
:D
Pay no attention to this man!!!!
PAY NO ATTENTION!!!
He is a joke!! A JOKE!!! So laugh, already!!!
Do NOT listen to him, or his policies, or his QUESTIONS!!!!
This sad song about manufacturing never coming back is BS. Its not coming because of the horrible Free Trade agreements we have in place. Trump is right we need to renegotiate every one of them.
The establishment/uniparty does not want manufacturing back or much of anything. They are happy to stick us as a service industry country. Most of the current crop of elected politicians care nothing for middle class America. Its all about big business and the banking cartel. We have become an Oligarchy. Trump is a terrible threat to this.
I agree.
The GOP is about to split down the middle I think. As is, likewise, the Democrat party. What I see actually, is a third party forming (maybe even this election cycle, if nobody backs America for a change) with the new party being from both of the other parties, and for American jobs.
So many people are for sending all American jobs to China, and that is so defended, by so many, that it is inevitable I think.
Trump is about the only guy, who can change things. If anyone else is up to it, they better speak up.
Or it’s Trump versus everyone currently selling our nation to everyone else.
I’m completely series.
Trump is here, at precisely the critical time for our nation.
This will be a very, very interesting election.
Let's say, for sake of argument, Donald is elected President. How does he propose to force Mexico to pay for a border wall? He sounds like a little kid who says "If I'm President, I'll solve world hunger and bring world peace."
Like all blowhards, he says things that cause controversy and sound like good rhetoric to certain gullible people, but unless he's stupid (which he isn't) he knows that he's saying attention-grabbing nonsense as much as you or I know it.
If you add Abolish the IRS and Protect Religious Freedom, Trump sounds like Cruz. Trump is just ,” Me Too”
Yup.
Everyone should just vote for more of the SOS.
And then you’ll be happy when you get the SOS.
Just sayin.
One significant difference I see, maybe Cruz can address this concern, or maybe he cannot.
It is a critical issue for me.
Can Cruz be for bringing back jobs, right here to America?
Right now, Donald Trump is the ONLY person saying he will. Anywhere.
Go away, dumbass.
Who is for that? Prove your claim.
Cringy has never supported conservative policies, ever.
I say simply, go shopping.
Anywhere in America.
Pick up anything. It will very likely say “Made in China”.
Not just in one store. Not in one city. Not in one county. Not in one state. I am saying our entire country, is buying stuff made in China.
We have lost sight of the importance of our very own economy.
Both parties.
Actually juvenile, over done, and over used.
I bet you said that no one can amass a $9 billion fortune either.
We imported about $467 billion worth of stuff from China last year.
Personal income last year was $14.7 trillion.
Your thinking is, simply, incomplete.
We sold only about $124 billion worth of stuff to China last year.
That is the rest of the picture.
That is a one-year trade deficit of $343 billion dollars. Just in one year. A new all-time record, in a series of new all-time record trade deficits.
And it’s still increasing, this year.
