It is good to have these pictures from space perspective now because if ISIS et al has anything to do with it they won’t be there to get pictures of in the future.
This is from a very good hand camera but still is a hand camera. Now think about what the pictures taken by the top-line military surveillance cameras must look like! I cannot help but wonder how many backyard sunbathers have ‘starred’ in unknown (to them) snapshots! Of course Cap d’Agde in France is probably regularly surveilled (just as a precautionary measure!)
The Space Station orbits around 200 miles above the earth. And it’s traveling around 5 miles per second.
