Exclusive — Donald Trump: ‘Disaster’ Trade Deal Empowers America’s Enemies, (Trump nails it again)
Breitbart.com ^ | 8 May 2015 | by Matthew Boyle

Posted on 06/08/2015 4:48:07 PM PDT by Cringing Negativism Network

Trump said the Republicans are pushing the deal because “they don’t understand” the topic and “they’re making a mistake.”

“It’s because you have lobbyists lobbying for this thing, and you have lobbyists representing areas of industry, you have lobbyists representing countries,” Trump said.

Then prove it in the marketplace central va. Put your money where your mouth is and make it in the t-shirt business in America without using any trade goods that have crossed the American border.

You anti-free trade fools are really anti-liberty. The problem isn’t free trade, but government. Capisce?

People pay tariffs, not countries. Your tariffs idea is utter nonsense. It’s essentially a subsidy to Americans to stay in business when they shouldn’t. The trouble with American employment is that we pay too much for too much government. Get the government out of the way and Americans will thrive. You’re as bad as Al Sharpton. You blame foreigners for a domestic issue. Solve it at home and all those ‘free trade problems’ go away.

I guess the first congress and George Washington were anti liberty.

"Whereas it is necessary for that support of government, for the discharge of the debts of the United States, and the encouragement and protection of manufactures, that duties be laid on goods, wares and merchandise:"[1]

Tariff of 1789

I won't be pushed around by Fascist gloBULLists anymore. Keep it up this could get real ugly.

I have stated it, a number of times, though I am not so much concerned with the how as I am in bringing back American manufacturing.

Whenever I do say my thoughts, things quickly digress to shouts of “protectionist” verses “globalist”.

Let me just say, we ran a massive and new all-time record trade deficit with China last year, of 342 billion dollars, far worse than it ever was before. It is also getting much worse worse, the first few months of 2015.

China is not, how America can produce things.

America needs to make stuff, right here in America.

I am not anti-Chinese, though I am against what they are doing now. China completely takes advantage of our open markets, but theirs are completely closed.

I am pro-American, and sadly I haven’t seen enough of that from either political party, in some time.

America needs to build up America, for a change.

Judas probably believed that what he was doing was for the best. Including acceptance of the 30 pieces of silver. It didn’t make the act any less infamous.

And in case you’re wondering, I have no interest impugning the veracity or patriotism of Ted Cruz. I merely point out that he has betrayed conservatives and is a globalist toady. He probably believes what he was doing was for the best.

Every policy you listed requires more government and more central planning. Central planning is the problem.

Listen to all your Marxist terms:

‘fair’ - define it, then remember that life’s not fair.

‘self-sufficiency’ - you mean at a minimum wage? More Marxist talk. American’s push for self-reliance. Who determines what is ‘sufficient’.

We already have an education-industrial combine that has ruined American minds. How about no government control over education, apprenticeships, licensing and permitting? Let the individual and their parents decide what to learn and do. How about a return to America in which parent’s, not government goofs were in charge of raising their kids.

Let’s go back to America’s Golden Age of liberty and rapid improvement in human life. GDP grew by leaps and bounds during the so-called Long Depression. Look up the Long Depression and see just how good it was during a pre-FED, pre-Leviathan America.

How about eliminating the corporate tax all together? Only people pay taxes. That would end the non-profit nightmare and all the politicking that corporations do. It would end the IRS abuses, too.

Tariffs are a bad idea. They failed historically and if they were such a good idea apply them to yourself. Make everything you need to live and charge a high tariff on anything you buy to force yourself to rely only on what you can make. Just try it for a year. Then report back to FR with your personal results.

If you still like high tariffs after spending a year enforcing them against yourself and your household, then I’ll join you in pushing for high tariffs for your town. Then we can experiment at the county and state level. You tariffs guys are like climate scientists. Your models work, but then reality happens.

Reading your policy points clarifies that you’re not really liberty loving conservatives. You guys are fascists, central planners who know what’s best and are willing to use the mechanism of the state to enforce it. You’re as disgusting as Obama or Clinton or Marx or Stalin or Mao. That’s the club you’re pushing for.

You are the one advocating moving our manufacturing base to an increasingly bellicose communist country then turn around and call me anti-liberty?

Now I know I've won the argument of ideas with you. You have to lie to make your point. I never in my entire life advocated here on FR or anywhere that a single manufacturing company should leave the United States of America.

If they left, they were driven from it by the kind of dumb, central planning ideas you advocate here all the time. Go enforce tariffs on your self and your household. Set them at 100% to prove that tariffs work.

You won't last a month. Watch your standard of living fall as you scramble to make everything yourself. Remember to cut off your water and sewer service, power and gas, don't buy gasoline or auto parts from anywhere else but yourself. It's an utter joke that a child can understand.

Go try it and bring the results back to FR thirty days from now. You won't do it because you're a fake and a central planner. You can always tell a Marxist central planner from an American patriot because an American patriot will fight to let you live as you want, while a central planner will fight to make you live as he wants.

The problem is government, not free trade FRiend. Learn to learn.

They failed historically

BS. The USA was out of debt and fought three major wars the war of 1812, Civil, WWI using tariffs as the primary means of income. You see guys like you, progressives, love the income tax. I don't get it. You come to free republic and espousing suicidal free trade but the USA was a much stronger nation when were protectionist(pre 1913). Go figure.

Yes they were. The appeal to authority is just another evidence of your logical fallacies and the silliness of your anti-free trade thinking.

The Founders knew nothing of modern economics. The ideas of Adam Smith hadn’t made it here to clarify that the mainstay of English capitalism, called mercantilism, was an abject failure and was impoverishing and ruining the British Empire.

You might fool the uneducated and those ignorant of history with your appeal to the honorable George Washington and the other Founders God blessed American with, but you won’t fool me. The Founder’s intentions were correct. Limit government.

Say it every morning when you get up. Limit government. Limit government. Limit government.

Instead, you seek to strengthen government and limit people. It’s you who mock the Founders.

I really don't like it when others define who is and isn't a conservative, based on how they meet that individual's agenda. I'm a US-first, make government as local as possible, laws should protect US citizens and better OUR lives (not the profits of corporations and elites), end globalism kind of conservative.

For what it's worth, I do buy made in the USA, and if I can't find it, from countries that do things to better the lives of those producing things. And you know what? When I can find it, made in the USA is no more expensive than equal quality foreign merchandise. The global elite siphon off any savings we might have had on the quality merchandise.

Yap at me later after you’ve lived one month, 30 days, with a 100% protectionist tariff against any goods not made by Central VA or his household.

Video record the whole thing for FR. Prove your ideas work or prove you’re a fool. Ping me on July 10, 2015 with the results of your glorious tariff experiment or do you need a little more time to prep and stock up?

Nice dodge. Ping me on July 10. I’m setting my calendar reminder right now. You’re a fake and you know it. Your ideas are vacuous and sophomoric. They don’t work for countries and they don’t work for individuals. Practice what you preach or stop preaching, FRiend.
