I have stated it, a number of times, though I am not so much concerned with the how as I am in bringing back American manufacturing.

Whenever I do say my thoughts, things quickly digress to shouts of “protectionist” verses “globalist”.

Let me just say, we ran a massive and new all-time record trade deficit with China last year, of 342 billion dollars, far worse than it ever was before. It is also getting much worse worse, the first few months of 2015.

China is not, how America can produce things.

America needs to make stuff, right here in America.

I am not anti-Chinese, though I am against what they are doing now. China completely takes advantage of our open markets, but theirs are completely closed.

I am pro-American, and sadly I haven’t seen enough of that from either political party, in some time.

America needs to build up America, for a change.

First, when you ignore how, as you ADMIT to doing, your comments become totally childish and meaningless. WHY and HOW are the ballgame dude....without them, its just pabulum. You are the one who’s not supporting America, because you’re just bitching without any intellectual underpinning.

Second, maybe you need to look at America as a set of ideals and not just a piece of real estate. You seem to think that any job on American soil is an American job, even if it is created by crony government capitalism and involves supporting a Marxist union. That’s just borderline retarded. Meanwhile, you look at an entrepreneurial importer/exporter as a bad thing. Your world view is really stunted.

Third, you seem to think that our economy now can support jobs that will produce the little trinkets and other consumer items that China makes. It won’t. It just won’t do it. You seem to ignore the reality, and not necessarily a happy reality, that it’s a global economy period. If Russia and Europe and the rest of the world can buy cheap Chinese goods and Americans cannot - we will be hurt that way by cost of living, efficiencies, productivity etc. Economics is just not as black and white as you think it is. If we cannot be productive, we’ll get our clocks cleaned.
