Donald Trump launched a Twitter battle late Thursday and into Friday against Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer, calling him a "dummy" and a "totally overrated clown" after the conservative pundit mocked Trump's low poll ratings.
The real estate mogul's Twitter tirade started after Krauthammer, appearing on the Fox News show "Special Report with Bret Baier," said that Trump's place at the top of a Fox News poll showing who Republicans would never vote for showed Trump earned a "deserved 59 percent" of the negative votes, reports Talking Points Memo.
"Its just a tremendously interesting poll," Krauthammer told Baier. "It is led by Donald Trump with a deserved 59 percent."
"Do you have to add the 'deserved'?" Baier asked him.

If Trump is pro-Americsn why does he export every job he can overseas? For example his clothing line is made mostly in China, with some in Banglades and Mexico. He refuses to use U.S. Labor.
I posted a (similar) article another day, this week. I don’t think this was a duplicate, I searched for that.
I do think it is important for every candidate to be represented in the news coverage on this site, and this spat appears to have received some mainstream media coverage as well, since it happened.
We have a segment of posters on this site, who are for Ted Cruz. There are some others for Walker, and some others as well.
I am supporting Trump and posting articles I see which seem interesting, on the site here. It is not a duplicate however.
I checked.
Petulance in a Presidential contender is not a positive thing.
Reminds me of the current baby in the White House.
Boo hoo !!!!!!!!!.
And there you go, how did that work out for America?
Pleasantly surprised! Very, very convincing.
Make America great again; “I don’t give a sh!t about lobbyists”...all music to my ears.
He also understands how important it is to put the RIGHT people in strategic positions to get the job done.
Only one thing I hesitate with: DT indicates that this country can be turned around ‘very fast’. I’m not so sure it can be that quickly, but I’d be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt/1
To be fair, I don’t see this situation to be the same.
Perot was completely right, I might add. He was (also) against sending American production to China.
China has since then, surpassed America, and both parties are to blame.
But Perot was running as a third party candidate. Trump is likely to run as a Republican.
That IMHO, is a very significant difference, between them.
overrated clown.....Trump would actually call someone else that.....Please
He is a business man and doesn't have time to babysit union jobs....Corporations exist for one reason and one reason ONLY and that is to make a profit....they don't have time to provide jobs, correct inner city problems, solve societies ills....ALL THEY DO IS TRY TO MAKE MONEY, and in most cases, they are heartless in how they do so....they are responsible to their shareholders who bought stock in the company so that they could MAKE MONEY........PERIOD.
I don’t understand, Rubio, Bush. Paul may shoot himself in the foot. Carson is no politician. Huck and Chispy Cream will fade. Fiorina might pick up support from dropouts.
The Govs. Scott, John and Rick have good records to run on.
Cruz is a check mark for TEA, Christians, Jews, and Constitutional Conservatives. Santorum out of action too long. Trump could stir the crowd, but is he really serious or just publicity seeking.
As I keep saying Conservatives need a convention soon to pick a team of candidates before they divvy up the vote and some schmuck GOPe loser gets to run alone representing 33 percent of GOP and wins like Romney did last time.
We conservatives need to coalesce and unite behind one person and retire all the rest of conservatives out of this field.
This may be our last time to get another RR conservative elected
>> overrated clown.....Trump would actually call someone else tha<<
Trump’s behavior is not particularly surprising. It’s called “projection.”
Trumps is such a baby. He would be nothing without his father’s money and real estate. And he practically is nothing, since his entire “wealth” is built on a mountain of debt.
“We conservatives need to coalesce and unite behind one person and retire all the rest of conservatives out of this field.”
You are 1000% correct. And sooner rather than later too.
There will be no more chances after this one; this is it.
why don’t you just say that you agree with him on trade - instead of all your childish only one standing up for America bullshit?
And again, you’ve remained willfully ignorant about a topic you claim to be concerned about for years. It’ kind of pathetic.
I agree with Trump on trade.
I don’t know what you had in mind, but that is exactly right.
I completely agree with Trump on trade.
If Trump does declare then nothing will derail his run faster than his insistence on getting into twitter wars with anyone who says anything he doesn’t like.
I don’t know.
Krauthammer has some mixed success. I like him most of the time, but he is (way) biased about Trump.
I completely support Trump is his vocal approach to this issue, to set the tone.
Agree with Trump, or disagree, it is noteworthy.
Any candidate running for POTUS calls Krauthammer such things doesn't have the temperament to be POTUS...
As for being a clown...it takes one to know one and as for being a dummy, I'm waiting to hear the words Dr. Donald Trump..
Here is a speech from Trump, from a month ago.
It is quite good.
Watch until the 3:00 mark, then if it’s not interesting you or firing you up, exit. Three minutes is not much, to just check something out for yourself.
Watch the first three minutes anyway.
It is from a big GOP event, Trump spoke there and got some big applause. The total video is 28:28.
Make up your own mind.
Trumps position on trade is a no brainer...
The office of the POTUS is far more than a position on trade.
You really think someone who calls Krauthammer a dummy and a clown because he dissed him on a national TV show has the temperament and disposition to deal with Iran, NK, Putin, China and that's just the tip of the iceberg. ...
His twitter rant was infantile and very telling...
