ME TV is great. Life really was better in the 50s. And yes, Superman was cheesy, but very entertaining.
Kara Kent on “Smallville” was hot as a firecracker. Unfortunately she appeared about the same time the series began to go down hill.

Yes it was cheesy. Superman would leap out a window and you could see him begin to fall before the jet plane noise began and they shifted to showing him flying.
They would shoot at him six times with him standing there smiling with his arms folded, then the crook would throw the gun and he would duck.
Superman’s top looked to be an ordinary gym shirt with the logo painted on it.
But like you said, despite all that, it was entertaining. Us kids loved it.
Doomed for failure. Nice production values, but miscast. Plus the story is screwed up since Supergirl is supposed to actually be a young teen, not a young woman. Look at the high negative count on the video.
I hope it attracts many girls/women to the movie, but I can't see any reason to view it from that trailer as it simply seems “lame” to me.

That actress was also on “V,” where she also played an alien. She really does look kind of alien-like (but a very attractive alien).
I think they mean “Current Re-Hash”. How many times can they reboot something and act like it’s new. Good grief.
Hah... I saw this thread and the first thing I thought was that SkyDancer, requires pinging! In my head I can still see that picture of you “in flight” when you were little without having to revisit your FR profile page. Hahahah!
But I won't watch it...if it is on television, they will make it some kind of hideously PC kind of thing with people of all races and roles represented in some way, but...I am sure there are people that will enjoy it.

And he would step out of Windows and just fall.
Smallville was a really good and well written show.
Is Supergirl going to have spare “Supergirl robots” hidden in hollowed-out tree trunks to occasionally help hide her secret identity from her high-school chums?
