ME TV is great. Life really was better in the 50s. And yes, Superman was cheesy, but very entertaining.

Yes it was cheesy. Superman would leap out a window and you could see him begin to fall before the jet plane noise began and they shifted to showing him flying.

They would shoot at him six times with him standing there smiling with his arms folded, then the crook would throw the gun and he would duck.

Superman’s top looked to be an ordinary gym shirt with the logo painted on it.

But like you said, despite all that, it was entertaining. Us kids loved it.

Yep. George Reeves as ‘50s greaser Superman wasn’t buffed or ripped. Just husky.
And he would step out of Windows and just fall.
