A record 93,000,000 out of the workforce? Yeah, not so good.

Look, if America is going to “bounce back” then we need to be doing something for innovations. And we’ve done a darn good job educationally to squelch an idea of capitalist innovations.
We will be stuck in this malaise for at least a generation, unless we turn back from the brink of progressivism.

This figure will be ratcheted downwards in a couple of weeks, and the unemployment rate will move up to 5.5% (of course, it is actually much higher than that). Nothing is to be believed from this admin.

Lies. If the AP were a real news source, they’d do an investigation into why and how the administration is lying to them. But no, instead they prefer to act as obamas megaphone.

The AP’s a bunch of shameless left-wing bootlickers. I’ve never read such ridiculous pap in all my life.
When GWB was President, all they could talk about was how rotten the economy was, when in fact, we had a real unemployment rate of just 5%.
Now, there are 93 Million Americans out of work, and these Democrat apparatchiks sit there trying to put a rosy spin on what is arguably an economic depression.
All because a Marxist Progressive is in the White House. And they do this on every single issue of the day.

Lies. If the AP were a real news source,Agree. Most of their reporting has an angle. Angle = propaganda.

I repeat this, so maybe people have heard me rant. Obama has racked up something like $7 trillion in new debt. On top of that, the FED has pumped $3 to 4 trillion in 'quantitative easing' into the economy. This is liberal economic policy. Then they jigger the numbers. For all this 'stimulus', we get 2% growth and really mediocre job growth. The job participation rate is abysmal, and most new jobs created a part-time jobs. Full time jobs are being replaced by two or more part-time jobs. No economic nirvana. Not even close. But the price tag for all of this will be out of this world.

The unemployment percentage drop is caused by people losing unemploment benefits, not getting jobs.
The new jobs went mostly to illegal aliens.

I would not say “we’ve” done the job; it’s the government, with their unaccountable executive regulatory bodies and the highest corporate tax rates on the entire planet. They’re chastising us with scorpions more than King Rehoboam.

the U.S. economy added 223,000 jobs in April, a solid gain There is nothing solid about it. That number of "added" jobs is a statistical estimate- not a solid number.

“Tell a lie often enough and it will become the truth.”
Hence, if recovery is mentioned often enough, people begin to accept is as truth.
If ‘global warming’ is mentioned often enough, people begint to accept it as truth.
If the media and politicians tell the lies often enough, then the ignorant masses who don’t know any better, will accept those lies, and we get the government and policies that end up destroying the country.

Most of the job gains comes from the workers hired to build our colony on Mars. I hear its almost finished.

Nonsense. Never let the truth get in the way of the agenda. The premise and the definitions are wrong, but who cares, so long as the feckless one and the regime look good.
