The Apple Watch Is Neat, But That Is All
Business Day Live ^ | April 23 2015, 12:42 UTC | Jeffrey Joslin

PEOPLE have been raving about the Apple Watch, so it is probably time for a rant from a devil’s advocate.

For starters, Apple’s smartwatch is neat, but that might be the only thing it has going for it. If the product’s intended function is providing you with around-the-clock health information, then there are a lot of roadblocks that need to be addressed.

Here are five: (...) 1. Battery life is as terrible as you would expect. 2. Too little screen for too much information. 3. It is too big. 4. Even the positive reviews are negative. 5. The Apple Watch could still fail. (...)

What happened is that Tim Kook just did a Bruce Jenner style sex change. Please try to keep up to speed! His new name is Tamara.

I actually looked at one of those, but thought I would look funny, monitoring my readings like that, all day long ... LOL ...

At least with the Apple Watch, I wouldn’t have to look like I just came out of the hospital! ... :-) ...

You're the one who admitted you're an Apple investor. Your motives are just a bit obvious. And to be honest that's fine. I fully understand you have a personal interest here. So you can stop with your allegations of harassment.

I've seen it all before here and elsewhere regarding other issues and topics. I've seen posters drive themselves crazy attempting to control everyone's comments and opinions to the point where they want others silenced. That type of behavior just radiates stench and causes all kinds of problems.

It's just a product Mr. maker. If your personal financial life depends on it that's your doing, no one else is responsible.

Cheers.

Like i said.... The CRApple watch will not be accurate as a blood oximeter. Does not have the right contact with the wearer

IOW CRApple watch is a high priced useless toy. Only the Chinese and Japanese are dazzled by this silly thing even though the user manual has not been translated for these chumps

You admitted you're an Apple investor. It's no secret. If your life doesn't depend on it then stop acting as if it does. It's just a product.

I have no special interests or personal/financial conflicts here. But others certainly do.

The positions and motives of some posting here is not complex or difficult to understand.

So there ya have it.

My 263 post was to the person who admitted to being an Apple investor. Again, I have no personal/financial interest or conflicts here while others do. This is not complex or difficult to understand who is motivated by what here. ☺

Hmmm. I see. Well, I must try to do better at monitoring the personal, social, and sexual lives of America's leading CEOs.

"Tamara"??? Sounds like a name for a stripper. "I'm goin' home now, see ya Tamara!" LOL !!! :-)

The CRApple watch simply does not establish proper contact with the wearer’s skin. Therefor it will not be accurate to read blood oxygen. But buy one anyhow. You can always sell it on craigs list

It hasn’t been activated yet, so you’re using your clairvoyant skills to even say this. Those skills aren’t really turning out well for you ... :-) ...

You will not find this is in Chinese or any Asian language because Apple forgot to do translations. Plus they are assuming any Asian buyer know English

https://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1708/en_US/apple_watch_user_guide.pdf

Are you that dense, Dennis??? Look at the URL. Do you see the portion I have stressed with RED BOLD print?

That shows the manuals you are looking at are all in ENGLISH for U.S. access only. There are OTHER manuals in other directories for those languages. What you are doing is accessing the US Apple website and assuming a parochial viewpoint that it is the only Apple website. It is not. There is even an Apple website where the manual would be different with the section of the URL would be "/en=GB/" and the manual would be essentially identical except it would spell "color" "colour", and the section on Warranty would cite the Great Britain and EU laws, not the laws of the United States. . . as well as the licensing requirements of the EU and Great Britain, not the FCC.

Apple maintains a website for ever country where it does business in the language of that country. But, perhaps you ARE that dense. Maybe your name is a reflection of a misspelling of Dense.

Apple has hit an iceberg and is sinking.

How are those shorts doing on those Apple Debentures you were claiming you had purchased when Apple had no debt at all four years ago or so when you were predicting Apple was sinking then? Or three years ago when you were predicting Apple's eminent failure. . . or two years ago. . . or last year. . . As a prognosticator you are a great horse manure shoveler.

So where are the Apple Watch user manual translations into Chinese and other languages? I was right. There are none!

Difference is that everything I want on my Samsung is free, movies, music etc, with Apple you have to sign up and register and then pay for what you want and yes there is a little which might be free but with Samsung everything is free.

Uh, no, it isn't. Since you don't use an Apple product, you really don't know what you are blithering about. You Android users want everything "free" and seem to know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Did you not even bother to read what I wrote to you? Often times you get what you pay for. Exactly where are you getting these "free" movies, music, etc,. on Android that you think you can't get equally "free" on iPhones or iPads?

As for privacy well who do you think is knowing what you down load from Apple, yes Apple which is run by who?

I am not talking about what Apps I download from Apple or Google's Android Play stores. Are you that dense? I am talking about my private information, my identity, my browsing history, my credit card data, my contacts, my photos, my personal information. Google created Android for the sole purpose of mining advertising patterns and personal information for profit from selling that data. Google has stated they search every email that goes through Google's Gmail mining the mail for personal data for advertising purposes and to better "serve" the member by targeting them for products they may be interested in, i.e. they sell your data to third party advertisers and marketers. That is their business model and only modality of monetizing their services.

Google is run by people who have had meetings in the White House at least twice a week for the last several years. . . what's up with that? They regularly provide higher positions on Google searches to Liberal causes, Liberal candidates, Liberal and Leftist answers to questions, etc. . . and downgrading conservatives.

I was the one who discovered Google had replaced all the thumbnail images of Obama's fake Birth Certificates with innocuous photos of people. The BCs were still on the linked websites, but the thumbnail images were altered to not be what the searching party was seeking, breaking the unspoken covenant Google has with its users to provide honest search results.

Apple, on the other hand, has made it a matter of corporate policy that they will never sell or reveal any customers' information to a third party, even a government if they can avoid it. They have provided state-of-the-art encryption to their customers to assure this privacy to which even Apple does not have the decryption keys. Apple has published their privacy policy as a corporate statement. . . and made it a point that their business is selling hardware and software, NOT selling customer information or data. That assurance is in Apple's EULAs. Over my years of experience with Apple, I have not found any reason to doubt Apple's commitment to that standard.

Google's EULA's include the statement that they will use your information for advertising purposes and share it with their partners. Samsung's voice operated TVs listen to anything in front of them 24/7 and send the audio data to Samsung's servers. Where is the privacy of those TV owners?

The difference is night and day. So good luck with your trust in Google and Android.

Show me the users manual pdf in Chinese. Once again your Apple fanaticism has blinded you. Once again, Asians are loony toon buyers when it comes to the latest electronics. They love to be an early adopter. It could be the latest Xiaomi Redmi 2 or the Apple watch, it makes no difference to their herd like mentality.... The gays won’t bail out this bogus watch. The Asians might

Racist much?
