For that time when you really need to reach out and touch someone REALLY hard, you need the all new Apple iGun. . .
Special Order Only. . .
Thanks to Dr. Bogus Pachysandra for the heads up.
Seems to be working okay here. Cache cleared?
BTW, I pinged you wondering if you’d heard of anyone else having issues with this latest iTunes update.
Apparently, that's the actual name of a bus system in southern CA:
It looks like it uses Apples Face Recognition Software.
I’ll buy one.
LOL
Yes, but it tracks every bullet that it fires.
This is more like it!
It bytes. ..
Touche! ;-)
How fast does it download and how many bites does the mag hold?
Sorry, didn't see your ping until this reply. We had guests for dinner today.
Answer, no, nothing that i am aware of. What problem are you having? If you are on a Windows computer uninstall and reinstall. Might fix it.
Could be. . . but IBM was facetiously called Big Blue. . . LOL!
It gets them from the cloud. . . you just have to pay for more capacity and caliber . . .
If you have to ask how much the nuke option is, you can't afford it.
I promise, I will pay for the nuke option next week! I promise!!
I’ve been trying (And still am) since Friday afternoon to download the latest iTunes. It goes on and on for about 15 minutes (Or longer -up to an hour), freezes at about 60 percent on the download bar, then an error shows up saying, “(I’m currently waiting for the error to come up, and I don’t want to keep you waiting. I’ll post the exact wording when it arrives)”
I’ve tried it after rebooting, disabled my firewall and antivirus programs, and it keeps doing the same thing.
I’ve been having issues playing my movies (Bought through iTunes) -they freeze and skip about every six seconds. I’d hoped that this update would fix that problem.
I know that you’re not Apple tech support, but any help would be appreciated.
Well, it’s taking it’s sweet time this time. I have to get to bed. I’ll post the error message tomorrow when I wake up.
What versions of Mac and OS X? How much RAM on the computer? How much memory left on the HD. (Click on HD icon and press CMD-I or Right click and select "Get Info. . ." It might be as simple as insufficient Hard Drive space for downloading the file. I actually had that happen to me because I wasn't paying attention. What condition is your Internet connection?
Another possibility given the freezing and skipping, is a RAM problem. Sometimes you can solve that problem by unseating the RAM sticks and re-inserting them. . . but the freezing and skipping can also be a sign of low free HD swap space if you don't have enough swap space left.
What’s the igun for, a robocop game?
I probably should have specified this. It’s not a Mac. It’s a homebuilt gaming PC.
The error is, “ “iTunes” has an invalid signature. The download has been removed.”
It’s never had this problem before with any Apple updates for my phones or iTunes.
I’m running 6G of RAM and 11TB of storage on 4 internal and one external hard drives.
Good morning, BTW.
I finally got it.
I just found the direct download link:
https://secure-appldnld.apple.com/itunes12/031-18342.20150409.4BED3/iTunes6464Setup.exe
And used it.
I put the link on this post in case anyone else needs it.
Your problem was exactly that. . . Invalid certificate. Built in security to prevent "man-in-the-middle" attacks or false flag download sites. Your system recognized the version you were attempting to download was not legitimate. It failed the certification and cancelled the download before any damage could be done. There are signatures in the files that have to match. They didn't.
