Full title: What would Jesus drink? Experts guess what wine was like in ancient times and what modern ones are similar
Christ was a vintner.
And if you heed the Scriptures, quite a good one, according to the maitre d' at the wedding in Cana. "... the headwaiter called the bridegroom and said to him, 'Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.'" (John 2:9-10).
In ancient times, wine was precious and revered, mentioned more than 140 times in the Bible. As Easter and Passover draw near, thoughts turn to the vine and curious minds reel.

Booze has always been know for that, for thousands of years, we even use it individually in our everyday dealings, from dating, to checking out people’s personalities.
How can some one think that the KGB started it, or that it ended when they ended, or that there is anything unique about the KGB and alcohol?

In Russia, Vodka is usually well over 100 proof, and they slam it down like water!

The unique part is this:
They’re communists, and they use alcohol as a weapon.
Good news for you is you’re still free to choose whether or not you’ll be a direct hit for their side.

Uh, no...no “flak” here.
Come on, you had to know how that sounded.
As for the devil taking advantage of you if you drink, he can’t unless you decide to over-indulge. I know he’s responsible for a lot, but if I drink more than a glass, I know I have no one to blame but myself.

The GOOD WINE was 15% alcohol Very Dry, Minerally, Delineated with multiple flavors occurring in sequence & with great length. Yes, but what about the tannin? The cassis notes?

That’s why so many Russians still believe Stalin’s methods were justified.
Hint: they were brainwashed with vodka.

All wine starts out as grape juice, but by the end of October it definitely is not grape juice!

The funny part is, your judgment wanes from the first sip. Then it’s more likely you’ll take another, and so on.

How did they use alcohol that was different from all other country’s spies, for thousands of years, including right now, by all such agencies, of all countries?

When I drink I see Soviet era spies. Maybe I should change my drinking night from Wednesday to another night.

From the first sip?
No.
How is that I am able to stick with one glass, on occasion? Why don’t I just keep going?
It’s like blaming guns for violence. Drinking one glass, or letting go and over-indulging, is up to the individual.

I’d say the KGB and Communist Russia represent all treachery and violence ever committed, by all countries over the centuries.
This reputation is the price they pay for their deeds.

Think of the concept of a threshold.
Yours simply wasn’t met, it seems. But it’s a roll of the dice every time you do it.
