There is a play called The Book of Mormon.
Here are the reviews..
The New York Times calls it the best musical of this century. The Washington Post says, It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals. And Entertainment Weekly says, Grade A: the funniest musical of all time. Jon Stewart of The Daily Show calls it a crowning achievement. So good it makes me angry. Its THE BOOK OF MORMON, the nine-time Tony Award® winning Best Musical from the creators of South Park. Contains explicit language.
These Mormons are so lovable, you feel half-inclined to take a couple of emhome with you. MORMON is hilarious. Chris Jones, CHICAGO TRIBUNE
TOPICS: Humor; Music/Entertainment; Religion; Society
KEYWORDS: funny; islam; play; religion
As it seems that all types of western religion is fair game, I am looking for a partner to do one about Islam.
We should start by getting a crowd-funding program going, entertain ideas, call actors in Hollywood to see who wants to be in it...

Obama and liberals would be strongly opposed to it. They might even put you in jail like they did for the Benghazi terrorist attack.

As it seems that all types of western religion is fair game, I am looking for a partner to do one about Islam. Here's Scene 1 for your play: Have a gay couple go into a Muslim-owned bakery and ask for a wedding cake. Hilarity will ensue!
Here's Scene 2: Then have the gay couple go into a Muslim-owned catering service and place an order for bacon-wrapped hot dogs. More hilarity!

It'll never happen, given that blasphemy is a HUGE crime in Islam and could cause a fatwa--as the staff of Charlie Hebdo found out with tragic results.

Your point is excellent. Islam needs to be exposed at every opportunity. Satire is a very effective weapon. But so is the threat of death. I admire the courage of anyone who confronts this evil.

They will never do one on the indoctrination book of the ROP. That crowd has no sense of humor and would kill the producers.

We should start by getting a crowd-funding program going, entertain ideas, call actors in Hollywood to see who wants to be in it...Start with the Muslim actor who played the Savior in "Killing Jesus". He'd make a good Muhammad.
That's NOT a knock or < /sarc >, by the way; he played the part well. And the historical perspective of the movie did not diminish the Biblical message at all.

BTW haven’t seen his stuff up on FR lately.
I know we generally frown on blog pimps, but he is young and needs or help.

There is nothing wrong with going after the Mormon cult, that is performing a service and helps save Christians, worry about how the media wars against Christianity.

Without having seen it, I understand the premise of The Book of Mormon to be about a native village instructed in the rudiments of Mormonism by a group of missionaries. The natives later demonstrate their knowledge of Mormonism for visiting church elders . . . getting absolutely everything wrong with seemingly hilarious consequences.
Mohammed got everything wrong regarding both the Old and New Testaments and created a plan for Arab hegemony disguised as a new religion based on those errors.
I feel a movie treatment coming on.

Couldn’t have the Book of Islam because the theater and a bunch of first-nighters would have been taken out on opening night by a suicide bomber.

I have one called “mohammad and the Pork Roast” set in the Arabian peninsula in the sixth century. It is about a half wit who is in love with his pet pig. And then, get this, the people think the half wit is a prophet and start writing down what he says.
But then they get hungry...
You'll laugh your head off.
