So I saw several years of complaints that Obama was born in Kenya. Lets assume he was. His mother is an American citizen; there isn't any dispute there. And, in the minds of those who believe he was born in Kenya, that means he's not eligible to be President.
Lets move to Ted Cruz. He was born in Canada. His father wasn't a US Citizen at the time of his birth. His mother was. So if Obama being born in Kenya supposedly matters, why does Cruz being born in Canada NOT matter?
Apart from eligibilityissues, there were numerous sources that stated he was born in Kenya and not in Hawaii as he claimed by the time he entered the race. That's a BIG discrepancy that has never been explained by the person who would have provided the information - Obama. At the very least it's quite apparent Obama was lying big time about his birthplace.
'Nuff said.
Are you a concern troll?
This is a settled issue. The only reason I know of that someone would ask questions likes your is because they are using this agenda to trash Sen. Cruz.
No, shill, the honest response was post #8, not your Democrat echo. And Obama knows it, which is why he won't release his birth certificate. Cruz is not the same situation as Obama. Laws matter. Go back to to DU.
The only interpretation the courts ever made is on who has standing to challenge. They never ruled on the issue itself.
[ Obama was never born in Kenya. That was Obama wishing he was. He enjoyed his foreign African name and it took him a long way with the American black community. ]
Not to mention other perks involving college funding and not having to sign up for selective service.....
The selective Service “form” from the Obama camp is one of the biggest indicators of fraud concernign this, moreso than the BC.

There's no evidence of that.
I don’t argue anything you’re saying.
This thread is about birthplace and citizenship. Nothing else.
No, the truth about Obama would destroy his eligibility. Otherwise so many people wouldn’t have had to cover for him, lie for him, and even die for him.
Something’s wrong with his citizenship, which is why he had to seal his entire background.
His mom was seen with a newborn Barack she didn’t know how to take care of first in Seattle, where she had gone to high school, NOT in Hawaii where she had gotten pregnant and where her parents were. Occam’s razor is appropriate here. Teen girls in trouble in Seattle went to Canada to wait out their pregnancies and give the babies up for adoption. Who cares about citizenship laws at a time like that? The mulatto baby would go to a loving Canadian couple.
Too bad Stanley must have changed her mind at the last minute. Too bad for all of us.
She admits it was an error on her part. Just coincidentally she said he was born in Kenya. Why not Tanzania?
Sorry, while I have no doubt he was born in Kenya, it is his mothers status which matters, not his. But more importantly, why the lies?
“Meanwhile the mother of Ted Cruz was an American citizen and older than 19 at the time of his birth...and his father was a legal immigrant with a green card..his parents were married..”

No one here condensed it down as concisely as you, so I’m going to ask, nicely, are you sure?
I want to have this clear in my own mind.
There are two possibilities. Either (1) Obama's original birth certificate said something that Obama did not want released or (2) it was a machiavellian plot by Obama to distract attention from something else that Obama did not want released.
By focusing attention on his refusal to release his birth certificate, he could divert attention from the myriad of other records that he refused to release. For example, his college transcripts (that might disclose that he received scholarships or financial aid by claiming he was not a U.S. citizen) or his passport records (that might disclose that he traveled to Pakistan on his college drug mule road trip using an Indonesian passport) or his medical records (that might disclose his venereal disease treatment) or countless other possibilities.
If the lamestream media ever focused on any of these other issues, he could release his birth certificate and claim, "This is just like when all those birthers claimed I was born in Kenya."
Some would call it the wheel of karma. The birthers were always barking up a silly tree, and now that tree is barking back.
Not quite. Cruz is a NBC because his mother conferred citizenship at his birth by meeting the US residency requirements (detailed in other posts). Obama’s mother did NOT meet that requirement and did not pass on citizenship. That is why team Obama has been all about location, i.e. where he was born.
IF (big if) Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a NBC and it is all a moot point.
More than White people did? African-Americans would have voted for a black Democrat whatever his or her name was. A lot of White liberals felt more comfortable voting for someone with an African name than someone with a stereotypically African-American name.
Bammy lying about being born in Kenya as an adult was done in order to garner favortism in academic circles as “exotic students” got the most help sorta thing.
When his handlers had him run for POTUS they realized that they had to cover for his previous lies about his past.
His college records are the penultimate smoking gun on this matter.
His BC either has another father’s name or has him listed as a bastard or something embarassing that while it may not disqualify him, would destroy his “kenya’s favortie son” narrtivie that he used in the first 10 years of him being an adult in chicago....
Complicating Obama’s case is the fact that his mother was not married. If the case had come up in the 40s or 50s, possibly the 60s, he would have likely been ruled naturalized at best, as his later renunciation of said citizenship during his adoption would have mattered. After that, the courts would have seen “Black”, and “Democrat” and let him be.
You never heard of resume inflation? You think people writing autobiographies don't shade events in their favor? You think agents don't exaggerate the bios of their clients? As to why Kenya - his father was from Kenya, and book was about his feelings about his father. It was a logical tie-in, as opposed to Zimbabwe, Tanzania or Liberia, which had no relationship to the narrative, unless you think all African country names sound alike.
I'm really impressed with Cruz too but I'd like clarification on this issue.........
So what's the problem with asking the question?
If not BigDaddy, then me..........
So what is the alleged controversy about his citizenship (I know all that, father Cuban and Cruz being born in Canada) and how has it been resolved?
