The husband was driving, his wife was a passenger. They said the dog attacked inexplicably.
...
During the attack, the wife was able to call 911 while the husband pulled into a parking lot. The husband jumped out of the vehicle and the dog followed, continuing to attack the man.
Police said when the woman tried to coax the dog back into the car, the dog turned on her as well.

Here’s a thought for you and your friend. If your friend had three dogs (of ANY breed) that each attacked someone, perhaps your friend should NOT own a dog because he doesn’t have a clue how to train a dog!
Be thankful HE did not also own a Rotti, or he might have been facing manslaughter charges for his dog KILLING someone.
Don’t blame the breed alone. Some people should just not have dogs; he is one of them! He should just stick to golfing.
” Subarus are Dog Tested.”
Yeah....but whate are you gonna do if the pit bull EATS the Subaru ?
They have some funny new commercials with Dogs driving the Cars.
I didn’t check to see if the Dogs were Lesbians though.
I never thought about a Subie becoming a dog’s chew toy!

My border collie used to try and steer the wheel. That had to be stopped ..
That’s because he wants to be just like you.
He was a better driver .
Can’t believe they don’t have a white dog. racists
“”It doesnt matter....the pit bull wanted to shop in Newport Beach””
Well, that would make more sense....upper class pit bull, you know!
” upper class pit bull, you know!”
With a “tude”
Wow, for the last 35 years I’ve owned Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Pit Bulls. Many of them rescue dogs. Never had an issue, all my dogs go through basic training and AKC Canine Good Citizen course. Some dogs, like one pit I have now, is preparing to go on to further training to be a service dog, which takes about an additional 12-24 months depending on dog and type of tasks to me mastered.
No, I’m not a professional trainer, just a RESPONSIBLE dog owner. And there you have the problem, many dog owners are not responsible.
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION I’m no buying the dog just up and attacked, theirs more to the story.
Well played. LOL
Best I could do:
Thanks LOL.
My Wife’s Brother has a Pug and he will get a laugh out of that picture.
Just another case of the well known ‘TROPMMSJS’.....The Religion Of Peace Muzzie Mutt Sudden Jihad Syndrome.....
I’m not offering defenses. I am telling all the knee jerk posters here there is more to this story.
It amazes me that, knowing what half ass, slip shod, incomplete reporting that the AP and pretty much every other MSM outlet puts out, half the posters take the piece at face value.
Is critical thinking dead?
I think most of us aren't interested much in hearing the dog's side of the story.
I did nothing but I have thought about it ever since.
Pit bulls historically were trained fighting animals so they have that propensity bred into them already, good owner or not. Very unpredictable even with training. It's in the genes.
Rottweilers were used as work animals and are very protective of family and property, which can lead to some real problems if not properly trained, as well. Many Rott owners think their dogs are too soft but they are very powerful animals and if so inclined, can do some real damage. The owners must be the "pack leader" or the dog will take charge.
Like I said, I have owed four Rottweilers over almost 4 decades and thought them the most intelligent dogs I've ever had as pets. We trained them and controlled them closely and they were great with our kids and grandkids. We never had any problems with them.
But I cannot speak for my golf friend because I have not seen him in over twenty years, but he can fend for himself. It is a free country and he can buy any dog he wants. The consequences of having pit bulls were his alone. I was not his keeper. As they say, "it's not my turn to watch him."
