muslim who raped a 13-year-old girl he groomed on Facebook has been spared a prison sentence after a judge heard he went to an Islamic faith school where he was taught that women are worthless.

Adil Rashid, 18, claimed he was not aware that it was illegal for him to have sex with the girl because his education left him ignorant of British law.

After his arrest, he told a psychologist that he did not know having sex with a 13-year-old was against the law. The court heard he found it was illegal only when he was informed by a family member.

In other interviews with psychologists, Rashid claimed he had been taught in his school that ‘women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground’.

There's also an odd looking seam between the raghead and the left edge of the image. I realize that the Mad Mo cartoon on the rag is a photoshop job, but it's worse than that. The rag has been 'shopped in next to the girl, the scale doesn't quite match, and the lighting doesn't match either. The whole thing is a photoshop job. I know the situation the image pretends to show is real, but the image itself is not. We don't need to resort to Danratherism ...

I've seen that picture much smaller in montages, never noticed the flaws before.

Just what I was thinking. But OTOH, if this poor child had a father worth spit, this wouldn’t have happened. It wasn’t a grab-and-rape-she was groomed over a period of time on Facebook, and no parent was paying attention. It’s traditionally the father who will execute his daughter’s rapist, though there’s no reason why the mother couldn’t do it. But, again, she’d need to be worth spit in the first place.

I think that since he claims that he should not be punished because he is ignorant of British law that this is a rare instance where sharia law should be applied and he should be stoned to death for premarital sex. normally I would never want sharia law but this sounds like a good exception
