The City University of New York wants employees at its graduate center to stop using the salutations Mr., Mrs. and Ms., sparking a heated debate about gender discrimination and political correctness. This morning on Fox and Friends, Campus Reform reporter Gabriella Morrongiello, a contributor to The Daily Signal and graduate of The Heritage Foundations Young Leaders Program, shared the latest details on the saga.
call everyone it
Call everyone “Comrade” or “Citizen” just like a good little Socialist.
How about, “Hey, You! Yeah, You!”
Can we just address everyone as “N-word?”
“Hey you, with the face!”
Anyone that writes computer code knows that discrimination is a very good thing. It’s what computer programs do, mostly.
I discriminated when I got married. I was specifically looking for a female. And when they cast the mini-series “roots”, one of the most basic selection criteria for actors for each part was their race. Discrimination.
Without discrimination, the world will collapse in a comedy of lunacy.
This may explain what is happening, actually.
Let’s just go with Tovarishch.
Courtesy is replaced by political correctness....ugh!
If I were a student there I would start referring to all of my professors and all university staff as “Thing” or “It” because that’s gender neutral. Let them live with their own stupidity.
Are all the Crazy Universities in Democrat Held Territory ?
Biased against non-citizens. Maybe “Entity” would be safe.
Snivelling twink talk.
If I were in the room I’d announce that since I personally happen to be a man, you will call me Mr. MarineBrat.
The number of stupid ideas that come from the minds of “intellectual” college thinkers is frightening. It’s maddening to realize that the future minds of America are influenced by such utter ineptitude.
The perceived insanity is a natural conclusion derived from an upside down worldview based on the original lie.
I used to wonder what it would be like living in the Soviet Union. The answer is becoming increasingly clear.
And as a further thought, dump titles like "Doctor", "Professor" or "Dean" from the university because they demonstrate both authoritarian and meritocratic nonegalitarianism. Everyone from the lowliest freshtovarishch to the tovarishch of the entire City University of New York will be a tovarishch.
Man, the NYU employee handbook must be at least a 1000 pages.
Make that the CUNY handbook.
