Watch and see if this doesnt blow up in their faces over the next 48 hours. I can already see Apple computers being smashed all over YouTube because of this. I doubt it.

Sadly, Swordmaker is right. The days when kids smashed their Beatles albums because John Lennon noted the Beatles were more popular than Jesus are long over. (Of course, he was correct, in the teenage demographic who know who the Beatles were, but that's beside the point...)
And sadly, that's why Apple probably WON'T pull the ad. It would draw more attention to their error. They'll just let it die a natural death.

I doubt it. You're probably right. Them dumb hick, low infos in fly over country, will probably never make the connection. /s
Seriously though, don't you think this is a stunningly bad marketing error on Apple's part? How could they not stop and consider how fast the 'anti-American' meme could grow via social networking over something life this?
Since you're the number one Apple fan on the forum, I'd like to know how you take this.

Never mind. I just saw your comment upthread. Predictably, you shrugged it all off.
Thanks anyway.
