Can't seem to post a pic on FR even using the 2015 HTML guidelines found in the 2015 SANDBOX section.
Anyone know why??
The symbol of the broken image below is that of the FR logo from that section.

You were probably linking to the one on your hard drive. You could see it, but nobody else could.

You had an extra quote in your link that broke it.
It should work if you copy the code below, and remove the space after the "<" and before ">".

You were probably linking to the one on your hard drive. You could see it, but nobody else could. Good point. It is always a good idea to hit the "refresh" button after you preview your post when it includes linked images. If you don't, then you may see the post correctly because the image is cached in your browser, but if the source doesn't permit hot linking, then everybody else will either see a red x or some nasty snarky comment by the host site.

Make sure your image is posted on a website accessible to the public, if it's on your private disk, we can't see it even if the syntax is correct.

BTW, you can look at the source from this page to see how your links are created in the html document compared to those links that work.

here.
Click Source. Copy and paste the html text to your Reply area at FR.
Preview OK?
Then click Post and you're done.
Easy Peasy.

You have an extra quote in the end. The code should look like this:
