No political solution to this predicament.

Unless one is a Clausewitz fan, I suppose.

The 25 should threaten to leave the GOP.

Yes there is something we can do. Most states allow the voter relief in the form of recall. The Ohio teaparty should start a petition tomorrow to recall the weeper now. Also all the one that voted for that stupid cromobus. They will not want lose power. Do what we hired you to do or we will fire you NOW not in 2 years. And if a Democrat gets the seat big deal.

By other means is the only way out now...

Either that, or picture a boot on a human face forever.

There’s no recall of federal office holders. It might be a little bit debatable, but it’s never been done and won’t be.

"And I will chronicle the fall of the United States"

Have you read The Fourth Turning?

FWIW, I found it somewhat comforting.

“We could all go sit in the corner and sulk, and then vote for someone in the Disgronificator party so that Pelosi regains leadership in the House..”

And other than the obvious differences in rhetoric and gender, what would be different than jb being in he job? Same script, same policies.

Hopefully lightbulbs have gone off in some brains.

On the Feast of Epiphany, how fitting.

Speaking of epiphanies...

"Same script, same policies."

You must have missed my earlier post on this thread. Here it is again:

A statement such as this is illogical, uninformed, or just plain nuts. Here's a quote from a thread a few minutes ago:

"The move toward "dynamic scoring" is part of a package of new rules that passed today on a 234-172 party-line vote as the new Republican-controlled Congress started its work."

It's simply crazy to say that Republicans and Democrats are identical. Dynamic scoring is good. It produces tax cuts, and reduces spending. Pelosi prevented it, Boehner and the Republicans all voted for it, the Democrats all voted against it.

Any chance that the Senate will be controlled by conservatives instead of Rhino’s?

“It’s simply crazy to say that Republicans and Democrats are identical.”

Of course the rhetoric is different, but the policies in practice are essentially the same. Two factions, one uniparty.

Welcome to crazy times.

I will not abandon this country in her hour of need.

My interest is more in abandoning the world at this point. However, no more inclined to do so, really, than the day Roe vs. Wade was decided and every day since. Hate living in this God forsaken place (earth).

Amnesty, no recall of obamacare, no impeachment of obama or holder. The republicans are just cover for the administration. They are weak and in some cases impotent. I’m fond. I’ll follow Cruz and support any attempt to make the GOP a third party. Keep beating your head against the wall.

When we "hold our nose and vote", it encourages the GOPe to move leftward.

I have been pounding that message in at Free Republic for at least two years now. Thank goodness people are finally beginning to get it!

Vote conservative and ONLY conservative - no matter the party label. The Framers frowned on political parties, and now we see why. It's a good way to divide and conquer the governed, then trick them to gain their support.
