This is going to get a lot more attention than Gov. Cuomo.
Thank you for the fun, Donna D.!

The show ran from 1962 - 1971. She was 29 in 1962 and was 38 when the show ended in 1971.

Yikes, I just watched her famous "The Twilight Zone" episode she was in last night, "Eye Of The Beholder." That was the one where the pretty girl got in trouble for not being as ugly as all the Democrats. That was a good one!

Sorry to hear of her passing. What a unique show. Extremely well written, well acted and so funny.
A classic show.

Unfortunately, Donna appeared in pubic dressed as Ellie May well into her late, late 40’s too. It’s hard to give up the image that made you known around the world. Not all stars are that way. Carrie Fisher does not appear in public dressed (exactly) as Princess Leia. She’s at the conventions, but keeps her dignity too.

Well, I guess she is the first one on next years TMC Remembers video.

According to IMDB, she and Buddy Ebsen were both Republicans and very good friends.

I read that she was very successful selling real estate in the 70s.
I remember my dad and uncles loved to watch her. I was 9 or so and I wasn’t sure what they were talking about. But it wasn’t long before I figured it out.

The show ran from 1962 - 1971. And "The Beverly Hillbillies" had good ratings, even in 1971. It was canceled anyway. CBS thought that the show was not sophisticated enough for the "hip" audience it wanted to attract.
The same thing happened to "Green Acres".
