One thing that makes the U.S. great: no two states are the same. That diversity leads to distinct strengths and weaknesses, but how can you know what makes North Dakota different from South Dakota, besides a made-up line separating them?
Well, in the interest of showing that every state sucks in some way, we picked out one key area where each is most deficient. This is what every state is the worst at.

Texas- Fewest High School Graduates Per Capita.
Gee, could it be because many of them don’t “Habla Ingles”?
South Dakota is the Riviera of the Dakotas.
North Dakota’s Cold: It keeps the Riff Raff out.
Good point. Since this is a Yahoo.com article, I'm guessing that some "worsts" were picked for political reasons.
I have been in every state, but North Dakota. Just never got there.
Ya but they have more stoop labor jobs paying zip...
Of course the fat corps love it....And some of these morons want to elect to POTUS the guy who stood by for the past 15 years presided over that Texas conversion.
We only need 1 Dakota and One Carolina. Let’s downsize.
Anyone who has ever driven in the Seattle metro plex will know that this is flat out WRONG!
Idaho: Worst drivers
Fortunately, drivers in Idaho do not cause the most road accidents, since few people live in Idaho or really need to drive through the state on their way somewhere else. The next-worst places in this survey were the District of Columbia and New York, which makes sense, given their reputations. Apparently, Idahos drivers are just total jerks behind the wheel.
I AGREE and then Cali and Ill could split into 2 more RED states..
wait for the big quake and we’ll just drift off to sea.
Expected my state to be “worst drivers in ice or snow”.
In Virginia we just don’t get quite enough for people to learn well. Especially in the I95 area .
A lot of leftist sentiment in this article.
Yeah Michigan roads suck but they would be a lot better if we got the feds out of the road funding business.
NY - worst at taxes, highest taxed state in the union

NY - worse at govt school expenses - most costly failed public scholl system in the country

I could go on, ny is a a liberal statist’s dream.
You should try Houston traffic following an ice storm every decade or so...
My husband was transferred to Williston ND once before he retired. I can vouch for the fact that is IS cold there, and winter lasts a long time. One of our children was born in Williston. Also, the hottest this Texan has ever been was in Williston. There was no air condition, and we couldn’t figure out how to remove the storm windows for a while. After we figured that out, and could raise the windows, it was a bit better.
We loved it there! The friendly people made up for the long, cold winter. Our friends there used to joke that they hoped summer would come on a weekend so they could have a picnic.
New Hampshire does not have the least inland waterways, because the whole interior of the country west of the Missouri river has no inland waterways.
Obviously New Mexico leads accidental deaths, haven't you seen Dan vs. New Mexico?

Latinos are notoriously anti-education, particularly the poorest immigrant here without documentation. Perhaps you’ve heard of them.
