How did this Alabama family handle it when they saw the people who broke into their house and stole their Christmas presents?
On Sunday afternoon, Chris Wyatt and other family members were able to recognize the people who’d broken into their house on that Friday from home surveillance video. The burglars were apparently back in the neighborhood trying to ruin Christmas for a few more boys and girls.
Once confronted, of course, the suspects had their own story. Chris Wyatt told WBRC TV:
“They tried to say that they were lost and we corrected them where they were.”
While they haven’t recovered their Christmas gifts yet, loot from another family, who had been burglarized an hour before, was found in the car.
Police charged Eric Paul Stillwell, 38, Natosha Derrick, 29, and Elizabeth Frost, 28, with third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property in the second burglary.
Perhaps these bad guys should have chosen a different neighborhood to hit. It seems there are good guys here with guns that intend to protect what’s theirs.
I love a happy ending.

Oops. I didn’t realize her name actually was Natosha. What the heck was going on there?
I'm not so sure the chromosome count on their DNA would add up, either.

Here in some parts of the backwoods South some white people come up with some very creative names for their kids. Years ago I knew a guy from Kentucky whose first name was Devil.
