The big win by the Buckeyes probably put them into the final four of the College Football Playoff. The rankings by the committee (due in about 25 hours) are likely going to be:

Tide
Ducks
Noles
Bucks

As a homer for regional teams, I would have liked to see either Baylor or TCU make it but OSU's decisive win with a third string QB was impressive. And by putting the Buckeyes into one of the four slots, any ambiguity over picking the best team between the Frogs and Bears is eliminated.

Ohio State lost to a 6-6 team. TCU lost to a 11-1 team. TCU is in.

I’d leave FL State out if I had a vote, but I can’t imagine the committee will not rank an officially undefeated major conference champ at least 4th. If they do I’ll be pleasantly shocked.

TCU may get in, but Baylor is the Real, Undisputed Big XII Champion.

I hope that ranking is what it will be tomorrow since two teams from the conference of One True Champion will make it to the playoffs. I really don't see that happening though. The three games tonight showed only one thoroughly dominant team, the Buckeyes. FSU escaped as has been their pattern and until the pick in the final minutes, K-State may have pulled off the upset.

TCU had 61 points scored on them. They don’t belong in the playoff and won’t be.

Maybe the playoffs need 8 teams. I have nothing against the Buckeyes but a rank is a rank and to lose one is tough. Nobody in the top 4 deserve to lose a spot to the bucks.
