"This sword is from the 1700s. I got it at an antique store in my memaw's home town back in 1984. The person who sold it to me told me to be careful because there is a 90+% chance that it is cursed. Since it's been in my house my life has descended into pure chaos. My knitting group came over and they all said they could feel a strange energy in my sword room (I have a collection of over 100 swords. This is my only haunted sword). Since i got this sword, about 3 times a week a crucifix will fall off of my wall for no reason. I am 76 years old. I cannot have this cursed item in my house anymore. Please take it off my hands!!"

I’m sure whomever pays $150 for it will end up cursing something.

A number of years ago, I saw an article online about allegedly haunted items being sold on eBay.
By making the haunted claim, the item, or items, would sell for a substantial amount of money.
Someone listed a cane on eBay that they claimed belonged to their grandfather. The claim was also made that the cane was haunted. Bottom line: the cane went for many thousands of dollars on eBay.

1700 era swords look nothing like that. IF, and I do mean IF it was made in the 1700’s it is a replica.
I bet it was made in 1984. In Pakistan. Sold in an airport gift shop.

Looks like a Conan the Barbarian replica sword.

Not an old sword at all. It’s a replica of a prop weapon from the old “Conan the Barbarian” movie.

Isn't that the sword out of 'Conan the Barbarian'? Bearing in mind that Arnold Schwarzenneger is a good deal taller than the little old lady. (He's 6'2")
Looks like a replica of the sword from that film, or at least a replica inspired by it.
