One of my favourite Twitter parody accounts is @TheTweetOfGod .

It's cheeky, irreverent, has over 1.6 million followers - and an unnerving ability to hit the proverbial nail on the head. Last night, it addressed the mounting Bill Cosby scandal with this tweet:

‘The rape allegations against Bill Cosby are a classic case of he said/she she she she she she she she she she she she she she said.’

Ain’t that the truth?

The total number of women who have claimed Cosby drugged and raped them is now 15. (The actress Janice Dickinson being the latest, yesterday.)

If you are not concerned about the erosion of our collective civil liberties, I won’t bother sticking up for you when they come to take your individual ones.

Many of us who are questioning this are concerned about a principle, and the WAY things are being done.

You are a still wet behind the ears Christian, if you are indeed a Christian. Trying to put words into my posts is not a sign of integrity. I have not even once addressed Cosby's accusers, only those obsessed with gosiping over the accusations and eager to jump at this opportunity to condemn him for sins which God CAN forgive if the behavior and the heart sourced for those behaviors is turned to God.

Your penchant for the either / or accusatory style is quite telling of your condition, not Bill Cosby's or that of his female accusers.

Women are speaking out about what they know to be true about a serial sexual predator. Why does that trouble you so much you are compelled to defend Cosby by impugning their integrity ? Cosby could not exist without supporters; the difference is now you know, or should know, enough to steer clear of his evil, yet you wade and weigh in. Who can save you ?

Cosby is an Obama worshipper who called Republicans racists.

He’s innocent until proven guilty but that’s the only thing he deserves.

He’s no conservative by any stretch of the imagination because of one throwaway speech.

Wake up. Back away and stay out of this, there’s nothing to win here by supporting a Hollywooder who may have statutory raped underage girls and assaulted others.

This is a predator. This is not normal sex. I’m getting sick of FReepers (not the one I addressed this to) acting like he wanted sex with all these women. That would be legal and not rape, and the only one who needed to be concerned would be Camille. However, the stories all show the same violent crimes. Statutes of limitations aside, he is a violent predator. Not a horny married guy. A sick criminal.

It seems to me attacking the victims and supporting a serial sexual predator suggests an underlying identification and kinship of sorts with the perp. It is not just that he is a sick criminal. His fall into an abyss of evil is not atypical for men with too much money, fame, and who succumbed to lust and an evil desire to have power over their victims. It will all come out in the lightm in this world or the next. Then his enablers and supporters can be judged after they knowingly rejected the testimonies of all these victims to attack them and support him.

Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? I’d like to think it’s because people hate to feel stupid. Everyone either loved Bill Cosby, and thought he was funny, or else at least thought he was a harmless American icon, not their cup of tea.

I still think some of his jokes are quite funny.

But he’s a serial attacker, treating women like absolute dirt, a rapist, and of course greatly endangering women’s lives with these pills. He’s lucky none of them ever died from his combos.
