This will certainly collapse the SS system much more quickly than ever. Adding 5,000,000 people to the SS rolls, who HAVENT PAID INTO THE SYSTEM, is a slap in the face to hard working Americans who have been supporting this system for decades.
Except that half of the illegals will be on disability benefits within a few years, draining it dry.
You can work if you get a taxpayer ID number which is different from a SSN.
by law (which seems to be irrelevant now) anyone born in 1929 or later needs 10 years of work (40 credits) to be eligible for retirement benefits.
Over 2.5 million of those immigrants are Muslims, think about that? and 80,000 in 2014 and promised income at least $100,000 yr....What?
http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Muslim-immigrants-security-threat/2014/09/24/id/596742/
I guess its time to get a couple more for our secret identities.
You get older people signed up who don't pay in any more than their 40 quarters for eligibility, and making low wages, it's a great investment. The other thing is Obamacare. Who's going to subsidize that?
10 years?? Most of us have already or will be contributing for 40+ years! NOT RIGHT!!
See#24 and how many Muslims immigrants are involved...not just Hispanics.
My first thought, exactly.
5 million is the number they are telling us. It’s probably at least triple that!
F U B O!
Not if they can qualify for social security disability.
There are many instances where legal immigrants where granted SSD because they could not speak English.
You are exactly right. Our evil nature got the better of us and the negative consequences are spilling over the border with the beckoning hand of our Thug Government.
Now they won’t know the difference in their Obama cell phone numbers and their social security numbers
He’s not giving SS#’s, as far as I can determine.
He will slow boat or eliminate deportations.
Bad enough but, in the next fee days I’m going to write a position paper, explaining the real effects of his edict.
Don’t get me wrong, what he did was unlawful but, the actual effects aren’t as accretive as he and his apparachicks wish or hope for.
Be patient and wait for my thoughts.
I think it will be illuminating...
It’s good news and bad news fir both sides but, will be an interesting and informative tome.
The effects the Dems are looking to achieve are pie in the sky but, still bad.
However, as bad as his attempt to play king are, they aren’t actually, from a numerical standpoint, a home run for illegals.
It’ll be an eye opener for sure.
FOREIGN-BORN WORKERS: LABOR FORCE CHARACTERISTICS 2013
The foreign born include legally-admitted immigrants, refugees, temporary residents such as students and temporary workers, and undocumented immigrants.
Highlights from the 2013 data:
- In 2013, there were 25.3 million foreign-born persons in the U.S. labor force, comprising 16.3 percent of the total. (See table 1.)
- Hispanics accounted for 47.8 percent of the foreign-born labor force in 2013 and Asians accounted for 24.3 percent. (See table 1.) (Data in this news release for persons who are white, black, or Asian do not include those of Hispanic or Latino ethnicity. Data on persons of Hispanic or Latino ethnicity are presented separately.)
- Foreign-born workers were more likely than native-born workers to be employed in service occupations and less likely to be employed in management, professional, and related occupations and in sales and office occupations. (See table 4.)
- The median usual weekly earnings of foreign-born full-time wage and salary workers were $643 in 2013, compared with $805 for their native-born counterparts. (See table 5.) (Differences in earnings reflect a variety of factors, including variations in the distributions of foreign-born and native-born workers by educational attainment, occupation, industry, and geographic region.)
In 2013, foreign-born mothers with children under 18 years old were less likely to be labor force participants than were native-born mothers59.7 percent versus 72.7 percent. Labor force participation differences between foreign-born and native-born mothers were greater among those with younger children than among those with older children. The labor force participation rate of foreign-born mothers with children under age 6 was 51.2 percent in 2013, much lower than that for native-born mothers with children under age 6, at 67.4 percent. Among women with children under age 3, the participation rate for the foreign born (46.7 percent) was 18.2 percentage points below that for nativeborn mothers (64.9 percent). The labor force participation rates of foreign-born and native-born fathers with children under age 18 were similar, at 93.6 percent and 92.6 percent, respectively. (See table 2.)
Formerly "undocumented immigrants" now (soon to be) legal residents and eligible for all government benefits "for the children." Ain't America wonderful? Again.. these Census / BLS data do not distinguish legal immigrants from ILLEGAL "immigrants".

I believe to legally work in the US one has to have a SS#. Now that doesn’t reduce
the huge numbers that will be forthcoming if they do register to get one.
A mulato is one thing.
A bastard is another.
Don’t confuse them.
Thank you for your service listening to the smug ahol.
Sorry about that.. my copy of the tables were too wide to fit side-by-side. The one on top is for foreign born and the one on the bottom is just native-born Americans. The one for the foreign born is the important one.
