Thursday evening will mark a momentous announcement from President Obama concerning his hugely controversial executive order to “shield” and otherwise legalize millions of ‘undocumented’ illegal immigrants living in the United States.
But is this tide turning presidential address scheduled to be carried live on TV for all the country to witness?
No. It seems that the big four networks – ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox – have all opted out of broadcasting the 15 minute speech, instead airing their November sweeps shows as scheduled in hopes of maximizing viewer ratings:

I wont even listen to the clips on a talk show. I will just take off my earphones until I hear Levin’s voice.
If he is “doing it in Spanish” he may need Bush to help him. The “smartest Prez ever” is not fluent in a second language.
I am not quite sure about how this all shook down, but I heard something to the effect that someone leaked the news that Obama was going to give this amnesty address. It sounded suspiciously like no one was supposed to know about it. This more or less seems to confirm it.
I heard O'Reilly say that too.
They are spinning this to look like Obama is being snubbed. But, it’s more likely that it is a White House tactic to keep low information voters from seeing him in action. The less people know the more Obama gets away with.
The self-coronation will not be broadcast.
He’s probably doing it in Spanish!!!
He’d like to, but there is no Spanish version of “Jive”.
Divide and conquer
LIBERAL: I applaud the President taking firm and LEGAL action.
RINO: While I applaud the result, the process is flawed.
LIBERAL: The process is the fault of the republican congress!
RINO: True.
O'REILLY: Well there it is. Good result, bad process. Let's move on.

They probably don’t want any video evidence of him breaking the law.
I don’t know who is more treasonous, the dictator, or the networks that refuse to show the dictator behaving as a dictator, writing the law unilaterally all by himself.
Perhaps, but keep in mind that dollars still trump politics, despite their liberalism.
I could be wrong, but I think this more about obama's damaged ego than anything else.
Figuratively speaking, November's election cut off his dick, and so now he has to wag the prosthesis in our faces.
It's wishful thinking perhaps, but I expect the measures he dictates to be watered down from what we've been told to expect.
First--This is a typical ploy among politicians when enacting unpopular policies.
Secondly- this is more apt to fracture the dem block than the Republican. There are a few pragmatists and populists among the dems and they'll be very influential six weeks from now.
Thirdly- he'll face opposition from state governments--possibly outright defiance, but certainly court delays.
Forth- There will be payback. There's still a vote on the budget and Holder's replacement coming up.
It's still in flux; the whitehut is still gaging and revising, and congress is weighing its options. The outrage is not being ignored.
Again, I could be wrong, but I think this is about ego.
Actually, he is quite fluent in some middle-eastern language or other (Pakistan perhaps?)
Time for a new face and energy to look out for the ‘folks’ Seems Ted’s not for anything...but he’s not against it either.
