Don Lemon is catching a lot of backlash for a comment he made in an interview, implying women can stop unwanted sexual assaults. On Tuesday night, Lemon interviewed Joan Tarshis, a woman who recently went public with her accusation that Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1969.
During their exchange, Lemon questioned Tarshis on why she didn't bite Cosby and use her teeth "as a weapon" when he forced her to perform oral sex.

His doctorate in education is not honorary. He earned the degree form UMass Amherst.
It is worth as much as any other doctorate in education.
So Lemon would have a woman attempt to bite a rapist’s penis off.
Forget the blood that would likely be in her mouth...and forget the potential for God knows what disease she might subject herself to...
So...how many penis’s has Don Lemon taken a bite out of...
“Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration initiated against one or more individuals without the consent of those individuals...Sexual penetration is the insertion of a body part or other object into a body orifice, such as the vagina, anus or mouth...”

He doesn’t have an honorary doctorate, he has earned bachelor’s, master’s and Doctorates in education. So has Shaquille O’Neal (which was much more of a surprise!).
Didn't have to rape anyone at that point in his career? You really don't understand rape, do you?
Yes a gun is better. If you don’t have one then what are the other options for a woman.
They are whacking Cosby, because he had the temerity to call out ghetto thug culture for what it is.
“Unless she has really good evidence, I doubt Bill Cosby had to rape anyone at that point in his career.”
No he didn’t have to.
Why would anyone have has to rape anybody?
Why would Roman Polanski have to rape that 13 year old girl?
Rape is about power, and the fact is rich people like power. Sometimes they want more power than they can buy.
And no I’m not saying Bill Cosby raped anybody, I have no idea whether he did or not.
I do understand rape, and I understand the power aspect of it.
However, people who rape that many times have a history of somebody making a complaint, and their power got them out of it. (i.e. Clinton)
As far as I know, there was and is no history of Bill Cosby being tarred with these accusations in the past, no indications of previous indiscretions, no “put some ice on that” comments.
I have seen the pile on situation before, where some supposed victims are just trying to get their 15 seconds of fame by association.
Again, there are very few cases of male oral rape on a female, or another male. There is too much potential for unintended consequences. These cases are usually drug induced rape where the woman has no opportunity for defense of any kind.
Although the NY police orally raped a guy with their batons.
“Although the NY police orally raped a guy with their batons.”
I presume that means they put their batons in his mouth and in some way simulated fellatio.
I’m hard put to see how that is the equivalent of actual forcible fellatio.
“Yes a gun is better. If you dont have one then what are the other options for a woman.”
A gun is best. For a typical women, something like half of the population is bigger and stronger than you, so a gun is extra best. Humans have the right to defend themselves. Humans use tools and have the right to carry whatever tools they feel they may need for any lawful purpose including defending themselves. Women should get a gun and some training and take responsibility for their own safety. The government refuses to take any responsibility for their safety.
I’m not a self defense instructor so there is no point in my discussing how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations or combative techniques that would be better than biting people.
I could recommend a switchblade but the government says women can’t carry those. Did you ever wonder why a feature that would make a knife more readily usable for self defense should be illegal?
Your previous comment does not indicate such.
As far as I know, there was and is no history of Bill Cosby being tarred with these accusations in the past, no indications of previous indiscretions...
Allegations, by numerous women, about Cosby & sexual assault have been around for lots of years. They're just getting aired - once again - because a comedian's comments went viral.
As far as past previous indiscretions, perhaps you don't realize it's common knowledge he's cheated on his wife in the past & has at least one love-child from those past indiscretions?
Don Lemon: “You know, OJ, Nichole didn’t have to be at that house that night. She could have chosen to go to the store or something.”
OJ Simpson: “Right. So, really, she shares some of the blame.”
“I have seen the pile on situation before, where some supposed victims are just trying to get their 15 seconds of fame by association.”
Absolutely true, I’m sure that is probably what is going on here. I’m just saying that rich people do crazy stuff and I’m not willing to rule it out.
Rape has zero percent to do with female sex access.
Rape has one-hundred percent to do with getting turned on by rape.
You’re missing the point. If a woman is unarmed, for whatever reason, would this be a viable alternative.
I think yes but it does have some risk.
Most would be rolling on the floor screaming like a baby. A few would lash out but there would be a lot of explaining to the cops after.
Back in those days people weren't so afraid so didn't carry guns.
