One of the women talked about how beautiful the rock was. I wonder if she eats plants. Does she not believe plants are as much living beings as trees?

Crazy people.

No, there’s that. But there are a few groups actually worshiping urine as a God.

Then there are the gay groups that worship the penis/Semen and yes, the crap eaters. Not regular corprophagists. ORGANIZED corprophagists.

In Bezerkly? That would get them endangered species protection and a place to ... frollick freely.

I love how during this, shoppers are nonchalantly walking behind them and filling their baskets up with meat product.

Just another normal day in Southern California!

I don’t know what to say. I don’t know if there IS any sufficient response. But I’m staying away from google...I’d rather be blissfully ignorant of the details.

This is good, but I’m pretty sure he’s not serious. I think he’s goofing on vegans.

I wish I’d remained ignorant of them as well. Reporting about that part of the environmental movement for Off-Road.com and the fallout from that is what got me a hit piece in Time Magazine in the late 90s. Earth day issue no less.

Back when the net was young, people refused to believe it and called me a liar until a lot of URLs were changed overnight. Then they realized it wasn’t a joke.

We’re going to have one in about a half hour, cooked to 350 degrees.

Frozen meat is usually tougher and dryer then never frozen. So make sure that these are never frozen turkeys rather then thawed.

Otherwise you are just paying extra for someone to leave a turkey out for you.

I see a lot of clueless, privileged Westerners with no real problems.

I was thinking along the lines of people who like to be at least a little bit discreet.

Methinks the public park in Berkeley at noon on July 4th would be a little bit more discreet than the public park in Berkeley at noon on June 14th.

That's Che's birthday.

Back in the ‘60s this kind of stuff was just getting started. One newspaper had an article about a Mother Earth type of protest near a local college.

A photographer went along with the reporter and took a shot that, to me, summarized the whole charade. To this day I don’t know if the angle the photo was taken was by accident or by clever design. I’d like to think the latter.

There was this large pit about six feet deep, with a sedan sitting at the bottom. You could tell the students were intoning something by the way they each held a paper in their hands. The reporter said it was a tirade against the mechanization of society and they were burying the car as a symbolic protest.

In the background was the bulldozer they used to dig the hole.
