Another example of stupid "Government has to do something" policy. DST got extended with GOP approval during one of those spikes in energy prices on the false claim it saved energy.

I’ve written and called my state representatives on this farce.
It always, always causes mayhem at work. We have to shut off machines during the change, and it still causes issues. Clocks don’t turn correctly, start turning repeatedly, and for some reason, some turned the following Sunday/Monday morning.

I believe it may have been Nipsy Russell who said long ago that the idea for daylight savings time came from a man who cut one end off his blanket and sewed it onto the other end to make it longer.

I’ve seen a lot of MSM articles slamming DST.
Why are liberals so against it?
I never really thought it a big deal, one way or another.
But seeing near vitriolic screeds against it in the usual leftist publications makes me think maybe it is a good thing.
If the liberals are putting up such a concerted front against it, there’s probably something in it, that I am unaware of, that is good.

Yesterday was the best morning of the year.
The Sunday in March is the worst.
I really like to sleep.

Daylight Saving Time is the greatest continuing fraud ever perpetuated on American people.Greatest fraud? This guy never heard of the demonRAT party? The Federal Deposit Banking System? The IRS? The EPA?
I could go on for about another day or two, but why bother? You all get it.

Daylight Saving Time is the greatest continuing fraud ever perpetuated on American people. That's "perpetrated." Which reminds me: The greatest, costliest, most destructive hoax ever perpetrated on the American People is school. Followed by government school.

I'll rant about standard time and sunset @ 5:30 pm.
Maximum Daylight works for me.

I say, "Honey,It's not late, It ain't even dark yet!"
Now "I'm not late, ...Blame the time change".

“Daylight Saving Time Is America’s Greatest Shame”
FDR and Obama are much higher on the “Greatest Shame” list than DST.

DST?
I’m fine either way - this is much ado about nothing...

Daylight Saving Time is the greatest continuing fraud ever perpetuated on American people. It pales in comparison to our borders, fed reserve, banking mobsters and the IRS...It's even below the national cable TV epic fraud...
But you can bet the rent, certain people/government are benefiting daylight savings $ham.

Get a grip, Alex!
I don’t care for the resetting of clocks twice a year either, but it took me a whole 5 minutes to accomplish the task.
I do wish Congress would simply end it, but I don’t lose much sleep over it.

I’d like to see DST go away as well. But “greatest shame”? The writer needs to learn the proper use of hyperbole.
