Daylight Saving Time is the greatest continuing fraud ever perpetuated on American people. And this weekend, the effect of this cruel monster will rear its ugly head again. On Sunday morning, Americans across the country will have to set their clocks back one hour, and next week, the sun will begin its ambling lurch to eventually setting at 4:30 in the afternoon.
Technically-speaking, this sleep cycle-wrecking practice of setting our clocks back is because we will be going back to Standard Time after our flirty summer with DST. And the unsettling shift back to these hours, and the hour "we gain," is the back-end of the time-bargain we have to pay for setting our clocks forward in March to "maximize daylight"—a phrase probably better suited to organisms that rely on photosynthesis—during the spring and summer hours.

I’ve written and called my state representatives on this farce.
It always, always causes mayhem at work. We have to shut off machines during the change, and it still causes issues. Clocks don’t turn correctly, start turning repeatedly, and for some reason, some turned the following Sunday/Monday morning.
The main thing I hate is everything.
LOL it barely makes the rank of minor irritation.
I believe it may have been Nipsy Russell who said long ago that the idea for daylight savings time came from a man who cut one end off his blanket and sewed it onto the other end to make it longer.
I’ve seen a lot of MSM articles slamming DST.
Why are liberals so against it?
I never really thought it a big deal, one way or another.
But seeing near vitriolic screeds against it in the usual leftist publications makes me think maybe it is a good thing.
If the liberals are putting up such a concerted front against it, there’s probably something in it, that I am unaware of, that is good.

I could go on for about another day or two, but why bother? You all get it.
No, this is something fairly equally hated.
In fact, far leftists are the ones that seem to adore it, which makes it suspicious.
I am NOT for something that completely disrupts operations for no discernible reason, and DST is definitely one of them.

Greatest shame is a joke. Electing a red diaper baby with a C- grade average to the presidency is the greatest shame so far.
