To every single human being I have seen cutting across multiple lanes to rush to their highway exit: this could happen to you.

Amazingly the person driving this Ford Focus, 25-year-old Jasmien Claeys, survived the multiple-impact wreck. As Carscoopsreports, she told Belgian HLN that the crash put her in a coma, shattered her hand, and broke her top two vertebrae, but she is recovering.

In most of Europe dashcams are common. They are required in Russia. This accident was in Belgium.

Get into your exit lane at least a mile before your exit.

Problem is 9 out of 10 times there’s an idiotic car on the “passing” side that refuses to “pass”. This gets the flow of traffic completely messed up and people start trying to pass from the right side. It is maddening.

I'm glad to hear that she will recover her health, but hopefully she will not recover her license to drive. A terrible driver, and if that had been a car she'd have inflicted horrific damage on anyone in it.

I’m sure it was just a flesh wound.

Where I live, people don’t use their turn signals to change lanes because all it does is make the people behind them in the lane they want to go to, speed up.

I’ve even thought about getting one.

I have one, but haven't installed it yet. After seeing that video, I'm not going to put it off any longer.

...peoples personal belongings...”

I was so hoping the pink object rolling out to the left WAS NOT a kid’s lunchbox.

One of my pet peeves. They've got cruise control on and are oblivious to the traffic backing up behind them.
