That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

Could you offer to rid his building of rodents or bedbugs? That’s what most New Yorkers need these days. If he parks in the street, you could offer to do the 4-times-a-week ritual of moving the car to the other side.

Now that I'm back home, and am catching up on my messages, it's time for a computer club meeting.
It's only once a month. Sometimes it helps to observe that there are real people out there on the other side of the screen.
The phone rang. Armed suspect roaming the neighborhood. Stay inside. Keep dogs inside. Apparently a 17-year old shot someone. They have their spotlights, police dogs and weapons out.
The cop said that if they need to be in our yard, our dog- a pit- would probably be shot.
I hope they catch this guy soon.

MEDIA RELEASE - Aggravated Assault on Police OfficerOn Monday, October 20, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. Officers from the New Braunfels Police Department were dispatched to the 1800 block of Stonewall Street, for a family disturbance involving a handgun.
Upon arrival, a New Braunfels Police Officer spotlighted the front porch area of the residence in question, where the officer saw the suspect standing on the front porch. The suspect saw the officer and fired a handgun three times at the officer. The suspect then fled on foot behind the residence. A large search of the area utilizing a helicopter from the San Antonio Police Department as well as the New Braunfels Police Department SWAT and K-9 Units did not locate the suspect. The suspect has been identified as Richard Cantu Vasquez D.O.B 12/26/1996 of New Braunfels, TX. An arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer has been issued for Vasquez arrest.
The officer at the scene was not injured in this incident. At this time we are developing evidence and further information. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Witnesses are urged not to make contact with the suspect.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to call the New Braunfels Police Department at 830-221-4100 or the Comal County Crime Stoppers at 830-620-TIPS.

Yes, believe it or not drugs are involved. A neighbor knows the guy and says he is “normal” when he isn’t on drugs.
