Yes, believe it or not drugs are involved. A neighbor knows the guy and says he is “normal” when he isn’t on drugs.
I imagine him waking up and thinking “What did I do yesterday?”

I had a roommate when I lived in Texas that neglected to take his meds. He disappeared with out a word. They found his pickup on loop 820 in Fort Worth. He thought he was out of gas so he walked to the VA hospital in Dallas and went to sleep on the front steps. He had dual tanks on his pick up and the other one was full
