Al Qaeda group in India on first mission attacks wrong ship
The group tried to storm an American aircraft carrier, but attacked a Pakistan navy frigate by mistake in a failed effort that left three terrorists dead and seven arrested.

Obviously they have never seen an aircraft carrier (even in a picture) if they could mistake a frigate for an aircraft carrier.
Of course walking by an aircraft carrier you might mistake it for a very large building.
An aircraft carrier could use a frigate for a life boat.

Obviously they have never seen an aircraft carrier (even in a picture) if they could mistake a frigate for an aircraft carrier.Seeing as how most of these jihadis have never even seen toilet paper, it's not hard to imagine that they would have made such a mistake.

Seeing as how most of these jihadis have never even seen toilet paper, it's not hard to imagine that they would have made such a mistake. Perhaps you’re right. But if I intend to attack something I would do a little research or reconnaissance. I would want to know something about my target. At the very least I would want to know where it is and what it looks like.
I realize these guys were on a suicide mission but knowing that I would think they would want at least some chance of success if they were going to give up their lives.
If you attack a military target in blind ignorance you chance of success is very low.

I'm thinking we should tie up half a dozen jon boats at a dock in India, then hang signs on them saying "Poorly defended American aircraft carrier." Then when the wackjobs go all Allah Akbar, we can shoot them like clay pigeons.
