Conveyor Belt Sushi, Japan
A dining concept that lets you pick from a wide range of one of Japan's best-known foods.
NOTE: Click on the referenced link to watch the video.
P.S. This technology will doom the SEIU/$15.00 minimum wage movement.

after watching the video, my mouth is watering for some sushi....there is a sushi bar 10miles down the road...make them fresh when you order....yummy...
Anything is bearable with Wasabi. Actually most sashimi is really good but they can keep the eels.
I could not agree more.
eel is my favorite!
at anyrate, there’s a sushi-go-round in tyson’s corner northern Virginia for those of you around that area.
Can’t wait to see the liberals reap what they’ve sown. Socialism has been tried so many times IBM different forms and always fails after people figure out its a racket that makes one group kill themselves working while the other reaps the benefits. It punishes the wrong people.
I’d pretty much agree on a max of five people per shift....just to load the systems, keep them running, and do customer relations. Each will probably get $25 an hour, but require a certificate (one year of robotics study). These low-wage guys, will be dinosaurs in twenty years. It’ll be curious what they fall back to.
Drink Sake first...then you’ll eat anything. :-D
(Snow crab, crabstick and shrimp are cooked)
O2
I think there’s one in Tyson’s Corner Mall, Virginia but could be wrong.
The video shows there are still lots of labor intensive tasks so eliminating the $15.00/hr is a long ways off.
Automation cannot do EVERYTHING but can damn sure improve things. Since Common Core is now the latest fad in our schools and “close enough is good enough”, who’s going to design and build that equipment? It takes “brain power” and it certainly won’t be future Americans.
(My career of more than 44 years, was designing and building automated equipment.)
“Contrary to popular belief, a college education isnt really necessary for robotics”
A college eduction isn’t actually necessary for MOST jobs. It does come in handy for a few things like theoretical physics, molecular biology, materials science, aerospace engineering, computer science, and the like. As for the rest, I’m really starting to question the value of a college education, especially since 90% of degrees are in bogus majors like ninetieth century transgender underwater dance theory.
College should be largely for learning at the cutting edge of technology. Sure there is a need for liberal arts like history but Hillsdale college proves they can survive without taxpayer money.
However not every cutting edge technology comes from the college educated. Flash Bainite was invented by a self taught Detroit metallurgist. He didn’t really understand what was going on but he knew it was important so he took it to Ohio State University for them to research it so he could refine his process. Those students have an edge in understanding a whole new heat treating process that creates stronger steel in seconds and may lead to other stronger metals.

Fresh raw salmon is the best thing you could ever have... give it a try with some soy sauce and some wasabe.
